- SKI Doo Blizzard 6500 plus- start up and quick spin around back yard.Absolutely a nasty sled.Had to sell it though.I think one of the best looking sleds ever built and in my top 5 of best looking sleds.

I had the little 245rv that I found on the side of a barn and restored it back in the early 90s....And like an "Idiot" I sold it...To this day I still get physically sick over it!
When canada was making cool stuff.
The RV style is my favourite looking sled too. Both the last T'NT and the first non T'NT Blizzards. They still keep up today.
I had that sled same model and year I ordered it Road awesome on the trails but had problems with clutch set up, put a comet clutch on fixed it was very quick for a 340.
I liked these sleds back when I was younger
Brings back a lot of memories. I bought a 7500+ in '79. I always liked their look. Broke my femur on that sled in '80. A long time ago.
Tried ordering one of these in 1978 but was too late so ordered a 79 7500 plus...also bought an RV new in 77...loved these RV styled chassis Ski Doo's
In 79 we had a 6500 ski doo it was fast and a trail sled my sister raced it and got 2nd place we also 3 other sleds 2 74 340 and a 440 chaparral s
1 79 jag 1 80 lynx
Your driving like your on a fuckin merry go round! Fuckin get on it!
I tried to open it up but it would lose traction.Packing down the snow in the back yard helped but no place to really open it up.
I agree
A friend unloaded exact sled in my back field It was brand new Been a few days
That whole Blizzard series is bad-ass but you boys 'aught--to try an '83 9700 Blizzard!!! Bought one brand new off dealers showroom floor in 1983. Had it for three years 'till heart problems forced me to sell. Won two trophys in factory stock and pro stock drag races. That SOB could pull the ski's at 20mph. Top end was way over 110mph. I have several ads on You-- Tube to get one back.
What size motor? 340? Beautiful sled. Always wanted an RV. Had a GPX 433G that was pretty hit in the day. Wish I still had it
340.Wish I still had it.No room for all the sleds I want.
