That was really awesome Karen, and I can't wait for part two! The sights and sites were so beautiful and fossils too? I'm surprised you even came back! It sounds like heaven minus the tent in a rain and thunder and lightning storm! That would suck when you can't even go out to enjoy the storm and show! Can't wait for part two! Thanks Karen!

Thank you, Lisa. That was a serious surprise that it was so cool. We were literally just 'laying up' between home and Kemmerer. Turned out to be so nice there, we had to go back. It'll be a regular spot to hit since we'll be regular at Kemmerer from here on out too, lol. Thanks again for hanging out for the premiere and joining us on the adventures. Part two will be out soon. Cheers!

Interesting that you saw windmill blades going down the highway. I had the same experience out on the 10 West of Palm Springs a few months ago. Five super long tractor trailers in a caravan that I got stuck behind for miles.

LOL, right, catch and release. I have to talk myself down when I have to leave beloveds behind. Though they are being guarded by a very trusty bat. We'll be back, the place was so awesome and so on the way to another awesomer place, lol. Thanks for watching and part duex coming soon!

What an epic adventure, such a beautiful part of the west. I have been to the east coast Boston, New York and others but nothing inspires me more than the West. I'm a California native and the west is permanently imbedded in my soul, I am truly at home here. Your truck is the same color as my wife's truck! She also has a Tacoma, while I have a Ranger! We are a two truck family. You remind me of my wife quite a bit, she is an art teacher and a middle school teacher. I had ancestors that came across the Oregon Trail and settled around the Portland area. My ancestors married name was Chitwood and her maiden was Friend. I even found where she was buried in an Odd Fellows cemetery. Oops, sorry I was rambling on. Hope to catch your next live event and podcasts, Your videos are very informative thank you

So glad you enjoyed the video! The west is crazy good for all the adventures, no reason to go elsewhere (IMO). Also a California native here, but really love Oregon. That's cool about your ancestors that came with the Oregon Trail. It's so neat that we can go view parts of the trail as they would have been back then (like in the Owyhee) along with great rock hounding. Thanks for watching and hope you can join us for some of the livestreams and podcasts coming up! Cheers to you and your wife!

You do such a great job telling a gelologic story. We know what you mean about all the mystery rocks. Every new area the rocks look so different. It makes you unsure of everything you know. Awesome seeing you traveling. Looking forward to the next one.Nice puddingstone!

Thank you so much! These places we visited had such exciting stories, we barely scratched the surface. I'm sure you empathize, never feeling like you can give a place its due amount of time. So true about the rock goggles, I'm sure you guys have plenty of that challenge as well. It would have been awesome to keep that puddingstone, I've not got anything like that. The next one is getting edited right now, hope to have it out soon! Meanwhile, happy and safe trails to you!

I missd the live by 👉 👈that much. You are on a route we took many years ago. It's a beautiful place and the water was sooooo blue. What I remember was trying to put down awnings of people that left for the day. Two more people tried to help but many were ripped off. Never leave your awning out if your not there and super secure your tents to the ground. What s beautiful and geological diverse place. The adventure goes on.😊 😷⚒ We should be moving again in about half a month. Most of my joints move without a LOT of pain. Keep having fun we are! Love your adventures. Hi to the hubby and woof to the pups.

Awwwww, we missed ya. I had a feeling you would be so bummed to know that I would not be cut cut cutting any of those gorgeous older conglomerates. I need to go back to the BLM and see if I can't find more of those, they're so gorgeous. That's cool you took that route as well, isn't it gorgeous...when your awning isn't getting torn off, that is! I'm so sorry that your joints are hurting, I hope the rest of your recovery is speedier. Just glad you're still with us and not part of that hill! The next adventure is in the editing so hopefully more fun to share soon! Take care, cheers!

Bear Lake was a super pleasant surprise all the way around (even with the storm). We were initially just hoping to 'lay up' before Kemmerer, but it became way more interesting once we got there (and dreamy water to play in!). Hope you're doing well in AZ, keep warm and drive safe!

Interesting! Sounds like the geology there is very similar to my area. So I'd say 9:00 is likely some kind of stromatolite or stromatoporoid. Might just be a concretion of some sort but I'm saying stromatolite. I was saying that before you even picked it up LOL.

Since we were at the beginning of the trip, I was afraid of loading up on too much, lol. We will be going back so I can nab some next time. Gotta listen to my inner Dustin next time! @OzoneFineArtVentures  Před rokem

It's hard to say how many hours since we took our time 'sight-and-rock seeing' on the trip. If we drove without stopping, it would have roughly been 14 hours so far, and this was just part 1 of our trip, lol. Thanks for watching!

OMG! I was supposed to go to Bear Lake with the whole family for the long weekend, but I couldn't go because of "reasons." Grrr. Maybe I can get up there for a bit if I can get those "reasons" out of the way. It has been a while since I got up there. Keep an eye out for "Isabella," the lake monster, when you're there. RawR
