Very cool man. I want vol. 2 so bad but it ain't gonna happen. Just impossible to buy for a "reasonable" price. I have vol. 3, The Art of Shane Glines (Cartoon Retro) and I have his devil girl statue. I'm a huge fan but man he's an elusive guy.

How did you get your hands on Volume 2? I went to buy it retail and the last copy was sold. Couldn't get another. The prices have been outrageous. I've even asked Shane to republish it. No luck.

I finally got to comment on your completion of your S.Curves HC's Big Congrats.. They look so awesome. (especially that newest white cover book). Your mash up of B.Timm & John K. is so right on.... Here's a wierd thought. I would love to see Shane revive a Ren&Stimpy or Jetsons type animated series.... do you think his art would 'move' if animated? Or is it only functional in 2D print? thanks dude. ukno the toil and th landmark this achieves in efforts to hold this set. the other shane collectors let one slip by.. i think his stuff translates to cell animation but its so geometrical it almost would work as that south park construction paper cut w xacto knives. i would drop.a lung over a full done ivy by th man. means alot bro. ty for recognizing and the recognition from one book fiend to another
Hi ty for watching. Yeah I waited for close to a yr checking ebay almost every day to get vol2. Your best bet is to wait for an auction. Yes they're amazing books. Only vol 3 ever seems to pop up affordably. They are worth the wait. Yeah those prices people ask are crazy
@@MrRigamortis86How much did you end up paying? I found one for three hundred tonight and it says its still available. Still more than I want to pay. I think 150 is about my limit especially since I own volume 3.
@AlitaBeyay i paid around 175 for vol 2 i think maybe 5 yrs ago. But it seems increasingly rare. Wish you well. I could never part w mine. Its a beautiful book. Take care
@@MrRigamortis86 I wouldn't even think of asking you. Even if it were 5 years ago its encouraging to know someone could get it for 175. These more expensive prices have been sitting for 6 years unpurchased.

As great as his females are, his details when he draws mens faces is even more impressive. What a talent!

There are nice pictures in 1 but I prefer the follow up books. I am having second thoughts though. Its more impressive than I remember it.
