Habitat Bobwhite Quail NEED!! | Woody Cover

Nesting, brood rearing, and shrubby/woody cover are the three main habitat components bob white quail need. These habitat features are equally as important for pheasants and turkey on any landscape. Kyle Hedges and Frank Loncarich are consultants for Land & Legacy and also work for the Missouri Department of Conservation. They have extensive knowledge and experience on implementing and maintaining habitat for bobwhite quail, turkeys, pheasants, as well as whitetail deer. I had a lot of quails coming to my yard and I wasn’t even trying to attract them. Becuase I live in a wooded area with a lot of shrubs. Then I got interested to keep them as pets 😁
