  • I wanted to take a "quick" look and upload a stand alone video of the Patagonia Black Hole 55L duffel bag. Be sure to take a look at my previous video comparing the 55L with the Patagonia Black Hole 60L duffel. Thanks for watching!

Chris, do you think there’s enough of a size difference between the North Face Base Camp 71l and the Black Hole 55l to justify having both? I have the base camp now and I’m looking for something just a little smaller

Hey Corey! Great but tough questions : ) I think it depends on how you'll use the bag and how much smaller you're interested in. For example, I love the size of the North Face Base Camp Small at 50L. Very versatile bag that can be used for a carry on, gym bag, etc. Slightly smaller but another versatile bag is the Osprey Transporter 40. I think both would be a great addition to TNF Medium. I'm also really interested in looking at the Black Hole 40 to see how it compares in size. For me personally, I don't feel there would be enough of a size difference to justify both bags, but again, just my opinion : ) If you're only looking for slightly smaller, the Black Hole 55L may be a good option. Take care!

Hello, how are you? Do you know where I can buy the straps for the suitcase? Thank you

Happen to have this bag still and interested in selling it? They discontinued this color.

How much will the backpack straps carry until yield point?

Hey Layput! The backpack straps are very strong/durable on the bag. Should be able to pack as many items as you need in the bag. I'm guessing the breaking point would be more than most could carry/lift. Take care!
