We commonly see patients who have had prior hernia surgeries. Usually it is not a problem. we need to see your tubal ligation report and the report from your hernia surgeries. We have never refused anyone who had hernia surgery....depending on where the hernia is we recommend against our Optional Screening Laparoscopy (camera inserted through the belly button) if you had umbilical hernia repair with mesh.

It is harder to get pregnant with increasing age...dont delay your decision for too long. The chances of pregnancy do decrease after age 43..but if you are having regular periods you can become pregnant.
