I'm so sad that so many people have no clue who Nero is....and mistake nero for Dante even after seeing the arm.
I would say this conference is Microsoft's best after a long time, but I want the other conferences to be even better.
The acquisition of those four studios and the creation of the intiative studio is a move in the right direction. People constantly complained and bashed microsoft for not having exclusives other than halo gears and forza and this was a good move in my opinion. And also those studios joined about 4 or 5 days before E3 so I wasnt expecting them to show anything brand new.

If you watch the Ninja Theory video on the acquisition they mention that they almost went under. They're a talented studio so if them being under MS means they can make more games then I'm all up for it.
The guy in the DMC5 trailer is Nero, Dante was at the end.
At the end of the day the acquisitions of these companies are good for Xbox fans and the company to get exclusives. Yes they didn’t grow the companies themselves the companies grown on their own but if we’re honest with ourselves Indy devs typically have a glass ceiling unless a big company gets involved in some way. Alls I want is competition between PlayStation and Xbox to foster more creativity for exclusive games and that might happen.

aquiring those companies means they have the huge back and support of microsoft to make whatever games they want. ninja theory were in trouble, so microsoft actually did a good thing and may of saved them. go watch the video on ninja theories youtube they explain their troubles prior to this. with these developers they can line up AAA exclusive titles to their system, people moan xbox doesn't have enough exclusives, well thats gonna change. thats why it deserved the cheers. microsoft is taking action.

They had those monitors for some of those people to test out those new games. So some of those games are playable at E3.

Omg this was a amazing show, they had so much that was quality and generally g a ound breaking imo DMC5, cyberpunk,gears,Halo,tomb raider, from software new home, session (skate game),jump force and etc and it matters all this was shown at there show first!!

Microsoft/XBox did really well this year, or at least improved on previous E3s. good on them.

From has done ninja stealth games in the past with the Tenchu series, which was published by Activision(and Sega, and Ubisoft. Also Nintendo that one time). So this is them combining two types of gameplay styles they've done before.

I'm not an MS/Xbox fan I don't care for Halo or Forza or any of their 1st party stuff. I just care for the 3rd party announcements. I was happy and shocked to see Battletoads. I didn't see that coming from a mile away. That Jump Force game could be good.

"SEKIRO: Shadows Die Twice" is a Mix of the "SoulsBorne" Series and "TENCHU" Series which were both made by "From Software", hence why it looks so different to a "SoulsBorne" game in terms of movements
And I'm happy that they're reusing some of the assets from the "TENCHU" Series, because it's been years since their last game (last one was "TENCHU: Shadow Assassins" back in 2008) so even just using the old assets makes me happy and hyped for it

Hells yeah Dying Light 2 sounds great! A Chris Avellone action RPG that's heavy on choices * drools * I might have been disappointed with Bioware and Bethesda but for me personally this kinda saved E3. Honourable mention to Cyberpunk too.
Oh, if Tales Of Vesperia comes to PC I am overjoyed. I played it through on Xbox360 back in the day and I loved it. Yes it is an JRPG but not particularly melodramatic one in my opinion. And I like the main character because he is actually kind of an antihero (he does some very questionable shit during the game) instead of "Lets do our best!" archetype every JRPG hero is.
And holy shit Battletoads!
I thought it was pretty good tbh. Then again I'm super into Division, so the bad Division 2 trailer was more bearable.

Microsoft is attempting to jump start their game exclusives by acquiring a number of studios. Ninja Theory was on life support until they scored a hit with Hellblade. I recommend you watch czcams.com/video/vIxWgVOCexU/video.html "Why Ninja Theory has joined Microsoft".
MS is already working on the next XBox. Acquiring these studios now gives them some assurance that they will have a good selection of launch titles.
Also, this is a strategic move. After the next gen, it will be all about the games and Microsoft will have a game service similar to Xbox Game Pass. These acquisitions support Microsoft's post-console long term strategy once streaming games has become the norm.
