I renounced and tepented , martial arts, tai chi. I was a reiki master. I was studying Chinese Medicine. I gave it all up and burned my books when I became a Christian. It was the holy spirit working in me. Amen Don't forget yoga also.

It is SO refreshing to see a preacher love people so much that he is willing to speak 100% truth and not worry about hurting someone's feelings. We need more of this straight-forward preaching in all areas of life .... Time is too short to "tickle people's ears".....!!!!!!

I was deep into the Occult for years, was in multiple Occult groups or as ppl like to say “secret societies” I summoned, I practiced and taught Astral Projection, and foolishly thought I was free and enlightened.
Thank God for sending my daughter to me, she brought me back to Christ even as a small child. I am now involved with a good church and am seriously considering entering into Ministry.
Amen! I was very similar to you but I knew that Jesus was the only way and I thought that since I believed in Jesus that I could do any occultic practice I wanted. I would go sleep with Luciferian witches and I was getting into psychedelics and telepathy etc. I pray that God will forgive me.

@zempath , I've seen real witches and warlocks as a child. Like he stated, they don't wear robes and hoodies. They dress like a normal average person, which makes them hard to identify. You can only identify them by having God's covering over you because the Holy Spirit gives you that knowledge.

I was involved in occult practices. I spoke to the dead, not knowing they were demons, and did divination, and used ouji board and taro cards. I didn't know these things were an abomination to God. I was raised Catholic, never actually read the bible, and often saw Hollywood shows, showing what appeared to be good or even Christian people engaged in these practices. Examples of shows that did that were the andy Griffith show, little house on the praise, I love Lucy, etc...Hollywood does that to make you not fear these very dangerous practices. I wound up with a massive demonic infestation in my house. I saw them, heard them, smelled them, was paralyzed & tormented & burned by them. My bed shook under me constantly, and I felt hands literally lift me up from below. Hands covered my mouth, they shredded a bible that was under my bed, they burned holy water brought into my house. They set my bed on fire & pulled a truck off the road & tried to drive it high speed through my house to kill me. Thankfully I knew the Lord's name from childhood church & cried out to Him. His name had power over the enemy. I began to read the bible & was horrified to find out how serious my sins were. I came to a true and TOTAL repentance for all my sins, and dedicated my life to the Lord. I found a church to help me cleanse my house, get baptised & I have been worshipping Jesus ever since, and that was 4 years ago. I am no longer under attack, and the Lord has restored all the enemy destroyed. Thank you Jesus for your merciful heart & for the cross!

Jesus is my Lord and Savior and has been since I was 16 but I recently started looking into (what I thought were) simple things like crystals, talking to mediums that were born psychic
I was born with psychic gifts as well so I didn’t “really” think it was if the devil. I started meditating, doing mantras, energy work, muscle testing, etc. I kept getting deeper and deeper into things and then the demons showed up. THANK GOD WE HAVE BEEN DELIVERED out of the pit. In JESUS NAME

I think it's something that is intended for use by God for intercession prayers, but the devil uses it to get God's children to open doors to him and his demons instead. Wow, this sermon has released me from tobacco use; even those in the occult believe that tobacco use is divination. I don't think he said anything about tobacco, but I researched and saw that tobacco was a tool. Thank the Lord for salvation.

I've done a lot of research on it myself and I know it's not pleasing to the Lord.
Even though His word doesn't specifically say it... I know it's true because it's revealed throughout the pattern in His Scriptures. Sin, idolatry, etc. I continue to repent and pray to be delivered from this once and for all. Praise the Lord HE has delivered me from out of the kingdom of darkness and brought me in to His Marvelous Light.

So, I’ve recently found Pastor Jeff here on CZcams. And I just thought I’d tell those of his local flock how very lucky they are to have a man of such discernment, such compassion, such intelligence and experience as the man who guards your souls from temporal corruption. I say this as someone who was brought up in the Roman Catholic faith. One who was all too aware of the terrors committed in the name of Jesus. And as one who, sick of the history that they refused to own, left the church sickened by the acts done in the name of the eternal God. But that wasn’t the worst of it. I allowed my disillusionment to not only drive me from the church but to adopt an agnostic world view. Because of the acts of his supposed “representatives” I blamed the all powerful God of the unrighteousness acts of His supposed followers. I delved into the old religions of my forefathers. That of the Norse gods. And although I didn’t believe in the actuality of them or their acts, I idolized them and their supposed revelations. This led me to runes and their false answers.
Anyway.....I call on anyone who hears the Truth that Pastor Jeff preaches as the very Word of God. Because of his past trials and tribulations, he understands the things you may be going through. It’s only recently that I’ve become aware of his ministry and I have rejoiced at his knowledge and passion for the Word of God and the superiority of Jesus. Please, hear him and his warnings. He obviously loves you all and wants nothing but the best for you. From what I see, he preaches the very Truth of God in love, whether from the pulpit or from the street. Mike Walsh I found Jeff when I went to Calvary Healing Center in Phoenix for rehab the first time in 2010. Calvary is a wonderful place, and one of the greatest gifts I received was Jeff, who was the reason I found my way back to Jesus

Dr James White and you Johnny Mac are the three brothers that God in His Sovereignty used to bring me from a life long raising in the Pentecostal movement over to the Doctrines of Grace. It all started with The Strange Fire Conference that admittedly made me so angry. I set out to study to prove Pentecostalism was correct and Calvinism was dead wrong. I started finding many contradictions and was so confused. I cried many times realizing everything I was taught by my dad the pastor was so wrong. I stumbled upon Dr James White here on CZcams and during a dividing line he mentioned your name and ministry. It didn’t take long and I became a Calvinist. Thank all of you for your love and devotion to the word of God and proclaiming the Gospel. And yes I stayed in the “Cage Stage” for quite some time. Michael John Williamson thats the problem with church denominations, dividing and confusing the body of Christ. I know this probably means nothing bc I am a stranger but i am glad you have a new found peace and comfort in living your life. A true fruit of the spirit. I Come from a pentecostal experience as well and its not about religion, the church im in now is christian, and the move of God is the same. Only difference is the people dress a little differently, i hold a few convictions that i learned in the pentecostal church and apply it to my life because i feel it is of God and edifies me. Church or God is not about religion, that's simply too limited. There are too many people branched thru different forms of Christianity that are truly the light of Christ portrayed. Consider the parable of the tree that wasn't bearing fruit, opposed to cutting it down they dug around it. Sometimes we grow in one place for a time, and when we are stunted spiritually, Jesus will loosen the hardened dirt around us that suffocate our roots so that we can live abundantly. Pentecostalism and Calvinism aside God is so good. God bless you.
Britani Sanchez I agree in many aspects. When we examine the crucial stances of what we define as Christianity there is freedom. The key issues should always be: who is Christ? What is the Gospel? How does it pertain to us in our salvation? Not by works but faith alone through grace. Understanding the finished work of Christ and how His sacrifice and atonement will carry us through. I'm convinced that in pentacostalism their gospel is man centered. In pentacostal religion there is much about what God can do for me me me. But true Christianity is about what God already did by granting the free gift of salvation and now once we receive that gift, the question is what can I do for God, who I owe my life to?

If I had an hour long message to explain my personal encounter on this subject, I still could not cover it to where any reader could comprehend the magnitude of it.
Knowing of Jesus is not the same as knowing Him. The same is true for the demonic realm. One can read about it, observe, study, encounter, and still never grasp it.
I went to private bible school. I began covering the bible entirely, annually, in 1st grade. I know the word, but nothing prepared me for having a possessed mother-in-law with 6 demonically infested children.
2 things - the last days are as they were in the days of Noah & Satan appears as an angel of light.
While I am very grateful to any man of God who studies & tries to teach his flock on this subject - as most do not - I am also saddened that many get it wrong. It's like childbirth - unless you've lived it, you'll never understand the adjectives used to explain it, nor will you have a true understanding of it.
What is wisdom? Learning from those who have experience.
I assure you this - the highest level of the possessed are not those who manifest obvious symptoms. Those are its victims. The most dangerously possessed, are those who appear to be perfectly sane & healthy, yet are surrounded by people with emotional issues, infirmities, unsolvable behavioral issues &/or suicides or other untimely deaths, normally attributed to their own choices, etc.
Satan's greatest accomplishment, is in his ability to deceive men into focusing on his targets' manifestations, rather than those who caused it.

That's what I learned. There is a difference between darkness/depravity and iniquity/lawlessness. The way I explain is: a crackhead is depraved(darkness), a pedophile elder is iniquity(false light). The scary thing is how many people are completely unaware and don't care. I'm sure you know that's why some require fasting and prayer, darkness was created by God and is moved for His purpose, but iniquity rebels against His name and resist.
When you actually spend time in Gods word, all of these practices are undeniably off limits and evil! Not hard to understand! Great video though! Many people fall into this trap.
What about the Urim and Thummim? Two objects used by Israelite priests (and David) to determine Gods will by getting a binary yes or no answer....

Phillip O'Mara It is Biblical to find a physical home church to be led. I’m having a difficult time finding a church like his, so I stay with my current church, but I’ve been looking for one that preaches the truth without finessing the congregation.

hippiekarl7 I have contemplated just getting rid of the tv altogether but I’ve found a way around the garbage. We sit as a family watching sermons, worship music and the occasional brainless show (cooking, documentaries, Christian story, etc.). People of the world probably think we’d lost our minds but we are filled and joyful. We don’t miss the social engineering one single bit. I love it when my 7 year old tattles on a show, explaining what she knew was inappropriate. It gives me an opportunity to teach her something.

I didn’t know of the term KST before this teaching - I have heard of many, many people in the holistic wellness world use “muscle testing” which is exactly what this is, but done on oneself or on someone else. I finally looked into it recently, because it always raised a red flag in my spirit when I would hear people talk about it, and I found out after a bit of research into it, that muscle testing is completely occultic. So also beware of a practice called “muscle testing”. And look into things that give a warning to your spirit! 💚
Jeff Durbin, would love to see you do a sermon on aborted fetal cells in vaccines. I've found most pastors are too afraid to touch this subject. But it's horrid and is a biblical matter.

It was recently reported that in China while doing research to create just one vaccine, they had to use 9 different aborted fetuses in order to come up with the correct DNA for their vaccine. This is easily investigated for anyone to see if they do their research. Aborted Fetuses are used to create vaccines.

We've been conditioned to believe that one thing is witchcraft, such as the old practices. What about this stuff we're calling technology?
I don't think all Tech is bad, but for the most part, a computer/ tablet/ smart phone is definitely an idol made with gold and platinum and designed by occultists who I believe much of this"technology" was channeled, not invented by man, but thru them.
I can not deny the fact that I am watching this(being the past) on a high tech crystal ball and scrying mirror, among other things that I dare not think of at the moment.
We're going to have to make some very hard changes if we ever hope to escape Babylon. TV is a tool for witchcraft to enter your home, the entertainment industry is completely Satanic, even if it sounds innocent, it's not by default.
We're going to have to walk away from all this comfort and convenience. We've never actually had safety and certainly don't now.
Our leaders have wars for mass sacrifice, to cause suffering and death, there is no high moral ground for any of the wars we're fighting, most of them are wars against ideas. They will never stop, and have conditioned us to believe so many lies that it's impossible to get any truth without the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Discernment.
There's a total flip side to this though. YHWH works with men, can give men the knowledge of the future(not concerning themselves for selfish reasons) , interpret dreams, give blessings, cast out devils, heal the sick and lame, withstand the attacks of the Enemy, speak boldly with the Spirit, Move mountains if they have to be moved. If you have a personal relationship with your Heavenly Father thru His Son Messiah Jesus the Christ, ask and it shall be given, knock and He will listen. These are the Gifts of El Elion and the enemy has perverted all of God's Goodness, turning the Truth into Lies and Lies as Truth.
While it may seem that the occult world is powerful and it is, very much so, but Jesus already finished the War, were still catching up in time, but it was finished on the Cross, and God Almighty is more powerful than all of His Creation put together.
Brothers and Sisters we are going to have to make a hard choice about wether we will continue to live in Babylon mind, body and spirit, or forsake the world and the trash in it. Return to a way of life that will seem crazy to those who are still lost.
I love what Pastor Durbin says. He is a very humble servant before our Lord. We are suppose to Mortify Our Flesh. "For If You Live According To The Flesh You Will Die, But If By The Spirit You Put To Death The Deeds Of The Body You Will Live." ( Romans 8:13). Amen.
Many many people have the ability to communicate with spirit. As they come to Christ, they tend to lose their ‘gift’ and their guides reveal themselves as demonic entities. Search new age to Christianity.

Well there really is "nothing new under the sun" I suffer from Fibromyalgia which is now and was extremely difficult to understand. I've been treated like a criminal in the medical field. Now they have understanding, but in the 1960s when my father was suffering from it, not only did he have to live in extreme pain, he was mocked. This charleton had my dad pay him 100s of dollars in the early 70's so that at 7pm every evening they would think about one another and my dad would be healed. Sick people are desperate and easily to exploit, that the devil knows it's a soft challenge.

I’ve been a Christian my entire life(saved at 11, and baptized at 13.. I was super shy so it took a lot for me to get in front of people) but I want to tell you how much I appreciate you and what you do! I have learned so much in just a few days of watching these videos it’s amazing! I have sinned(as everyone has) and have watched videos online of seances and scary haunted things that I thought well this has to be made up.. I felt guilty after watching them which should be a sign not to ever watch or try to learn about those things.. it’s so hard today becaue it’s everywhere .. from horoscopes to seances and what not. Pray without ceasing, at night sleep clutching your Bible. I pray for God's Angel's to watch over myself, my family and house every night. Find a couple Scriptures that speak to you, and memorize them - repeat them in your mind as you fall asleep

So crazy, other than the fact this sermon had a lot in it that God has been showing me lately in the bible, specifically in Deuteronomy chapter 18.. But as you were talking about dowsing and getting yes or no answers the first thing that popped in my mind was something I'd been trying to figure out for months that my chiropractor had done to me, and I've been trying to research it since it happened. So when you talked about dowsing i tried looking that up with chiropractor stuff, still couldnt find anything. So i pressed play and within a few minutes you started talking about the exact thing ive been trying to figure out! So funny how things work out lol

When I was a child, I had a natural aversion to even touching books that most people would see as benign (for example, my mother would read Stephen King books, she also had books like “The Exorcist”, etc., laying around. She was an avid reader.)If I touched them, I would then have an overwhelming compulsion to wash my hands. This was also true of any objects that represented something “dark” to me. Is that common?

Occult practices have so infiltrated our society and culture now that, for the first time, I found myself questioning whether some of them were OK. I needed to be reminded of God’s word and truth on this subject.
I also realized that, even though something might work, or appear to work, it doesn’t make it right in gods eyes. Maybe some aspects of quantum physics are true, for example. It doesn’t matter. God’s word is clear about not messing with it.
Another analogy came to mind as well. Gods relationship with his people is referred to as a marriage, husband and wife. Dabbling into some of these things and thinking it’s OK, it won’t hurt anything, is like being married and then spending significant amounts of time alone with someone of the opposite sex and thinking it won’t hurt anything. It always will to some degree.

Roger Kubik I strongly advise you to check out #StevenBancarz . He was a New Age guru and gave it all up for Jesus. He was radically saved and his CZcams channel is exclusively dedicated to exposing all things new age. I’ve watched all of his content and I recall him explaining contemplative prayer very well. I believe some Catholics are practicing this. Check him out. You won’t be sorry. He has a high IQ and is a wonderful speaker.

Not often do you see Christians using Exodus to defend their points. Yes the Bible may have said if you kill a thief at night you won't be held guilty, but it also says things like anyone who curses or dishoners their parent will be put to death, and I'm sure you don't follow that law.
The new covenant on the other hand says do not resist the one who is evil. But if anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also. (Matt 5:39)
While protecting your family is important, murdering has been very clearly made to be a sin in the New Testament. (E.g Rev 21:8, Matt 26:52-54, Matt 5:21) and taking another persons life isn't a joke.

Speaking of honesty, I am a struggling addict, even tho I havnt used in years "I will always be humble because I have to be" i believe that drugs open doors to certain "things". And by things I mean demons, and I've seen some very strange things indeed. I think some of the things I've seen have actually made my faith in my lord jesus christ even stronger tho. Jesus died for me,then saved my life after all the dumb selfish things I did, and for that I owe him everything. Anyway my point is dont learn the hard way like me, the ten commandments and the message jesus preaches is not just to make you "be a good person" it's to protect you! The mind is a very important thing. And spiritual warfare is very real. The more you sin the more you open your mind to things you DO NOT want there, trust me. Follow the bible and be truly happy! 🙏

My ex-husband took me to some fruitcake vegetarian Dr in Pittsburgh, many years ago. The guy had a radio show and really impressed my ex.
He did not tell me about the Dr, but I went to please my ex.
It had such a weird vibe and I could type out the whole weird story, but it was creepy, he hurt me, and I ended up praying throughout the ordeal, asking for protection, as I had no idea what I had walked into.
He used a nurse to ask questions of my body. I had no idea what was going on.
By the end of the visit, the Dr was in a great hurry for me to leave. I think the bad vibe went both ways.

I had a "Christian" doctor diagnose and give me holistic remedies for my baby when she was very ill. He did this five hours away and only used her picture. We were in the hospital days later and I found out he doused her. I was very afraid and learned that it was witchcraft performed over her picture with a pendulum asking the yes or no answers. I prayed over her and in Jesus name asked this witchcraft to leave. Someone also channeled using muscle testing from a distance to give me doses of their products without my permission. These are only a few examples of the things happening when we were trying to heal her. I am now very careful and research and pray over all things now.

My husband and I had a lady pray with us one time. She paused and said, “Hold on, let me see what I’m getting.” She said she saw me with a necklace around my neck and asked if anyone had recently given me a necklace.
We had recently gone on vacation and a lady that makes jewelry had given me a necklace on the beach.
The lady that “prayed” with us went on to tell us the necklace was cursed and we needed to get rid of it.
I now know that it was not the Holy Spirit working in her that gave us that information :(

I'm glad you're tackling this, I get tired of modern occultism and the like. Only two streets from me there's a pub that has fortune tellers perform every week or so. I travelled across the country to attend the International Eisteddfod cultural festival and just outside the festival was a vendor selling all kinds of things like magic crystals, tarot cards, medicines that clearly weren't backed by science etc.

As I listened to the speech by Dr. Ross, I kept thinking that what people interpret as "your body knows" is erroneous. I believe that It is God who knows my body, since He made it. God knows every single detail of my physiology. It is He who keeps all things together and it is He Who allows things to go awry. He works all things together for my good. It may not look good as my body degrades due to age, but God is carrying me through the process and He will walk me home.

I think the distinction is for people who are using drugs to try and alter their minds in a radical way. Some think dropping acid or doing bong rips will give them "experiences" that "expand their consciousness". This is hardly the same as trying to fight an infection or relieve a headache.

Michael Dowland me too!! All Pharmaceuticals are bad not just psychotropics. I was put on Medication when I was a young child for petit mall a barbiturate for ten years! This set me on the path of mental illness and needing more meds to correct that problem. I’ve been on psych meds for 20 years and without them I get very very ill. There’s great danger in getting off these types of meds and many don’t survive it. I’m a very strong bible believing Christian and this is a very difficult and sad thing for me because I feel so shackled and don’t know what to do!!!

I do believe the body gives off subconscious cues when asks questions. For instance, police interrogation. And I would imagine our bodies are capable of a lot more than we realize.
