Where you able to visit Djenne and Timbuktu or is totally off limits?

Hi Lic51! Djenne and Timbuktu are not completely off limits, but it takes an extremely special preparation to go there. My dream is to visit these two legendary cities and I will make sure to post about them when it happens inshallah! Thanks for watching! :)

@@Lic51 yes indeed, you need to fly there first of all, and to hire an extremely trustworthy local touristic agency to prepare the trip for you, generally you will be flying with them and when you arrive, they need to arrange for special protection to accompany you. This is the protocole to visit Timbuktu otherwise you’ll be risking your life big time. Not worth it currently if you ask me, but definitely worth a visit once the situation is calm and stable. ♥️
