I by passed this video numerous times with zero interest in watching. I decided to watch it today and it encouraged a better viewpoint of Jeezy.
I'm 60 years old.
Neal Dunbar I did the same thing!!!!
Its been poppin up in my youtube for years and i always skiped it because i thought it was going to be the same ol cleshae rap shit. But i just seen it today and i honestly say i learned something from it #respect
Man I feel exact same way
You know much is said about the Negative side of Rap. The drugs, violence, and disrespecting women, but when you look at the Fortune 500 Companies, the „Successful „ CEO‘S, and Success as a whole, many are structured just like the dope/Rap game. It all starts with a need and being able to fill that need. Like the other Oldheads, (I’am 63) mentioned before, I have heard of JEEZY through his association with BMF, but I never took the time to learn anything about who he is. A lot has been said about him being a Snitch, but I wasn’t there and therefore I have NO right to speak on the issue. I do know that to whom much is given, much is required. As long as You and God have an honest Relationship, why should it matter what Anyone else says or does. People will talk about you anyway. Look, they even talked bad about Jesus, so who are You? I wish JEEZY much success with his Career, and his Charity. It takes a Man to realize his wrong and turn that into something Positive.
Neal Dunbar this is awesome

THEE best if you ask me. First mixtape that went nationwide and sold over 200,000...that’s crazy for a mixtape!!
Real talk👏🏿👏🏿
Recession
That mixtape is the reason there was a bidding war to sign Jeezy. Every label wanted him after that.
This is one of the best documentaries ever with Samuel Jackson telling Jeezy story

God Bless Jeezy, Man. This is a prime example of what you would call a beautiful struggle. It's amazing to see the will and power of a man who is judged by everything but who he really is.
+Brad Willard How?
+Anthony Okafor i
***** Son, I am my kids role model. No black man over 21 should hold any rapper as a role model. I just congratulated him on turning his life around.

I’m just laying here trying to get back to sleep (been struggling with sleep lately) and here comes Jeezy. I never watched this before, but Jeezy has always been one of my favorite artists. He reminds me of me and a few guys I grew up around. I find motivation in his story and his ability to strive and connect to the world. Long story short (a little bit) I found myself almost tearing up thinking about my past and at the same time feeling better about my future. Too much to type but just know I identify with Jeezy. Thanks for motivating me big dawg.
The recession album is easily one of the best rap albums ever

To meet and hang out with him and the crew (shoutout to DJ Ace, Sheldon, Stone, and Boo Rossini), Jeezy is indeed as real as it gets. A solid dude with a true sense of loyalty and generosity. He’s come a long way and he’s still going strong to this day...CTE/BMF4Life...🏴🏴🏴📘📘📘📖📖📖

I respect Jeezy for being that street dude that made something out of nothing. The fact that he still connected to the streets and where he's from is what's up. This documentary makes me want to regroup my old CD collection. It's ashame how many classic CDs I have that are now scratched, broken, or stolen. Thank God for digital music capabilities!

I been fuckin with Jeezy since I bought Thug Motivation 101 in high school. I heard "Then What" with Mannie Fresh and had to get the album. That shit was fire 🔥 I could recite all the lyrics to the album with track list going backwards. This is a real nigga and when he lands here in Detroit we respect and love him because he gives us the same and its genuine and not forced.

i kid u not when i was in middle school they banned.....the tm101 shirts with the snowman on it
Cartiercal same
Wordddd 6th grade 90's Kidd
Hahaha i forgot all about that! Damn im glad you reminded me of that...
Why’d they ban a snowman shirt lol
I wore it on purpose knowing they'd send me home. Then after they caught on, they made me turn it inside out, and stopped sending me home. Once I got in trouble at school and had a parent teacher conference, they brought it up about the shirt telling.my mom what it meant lol. My mom from colombia and was doing her thing at the time, she went it bought one after they told her about the snowman wave lol
Damn that was one awesome documentary. Really didn't expect that !
Thank You I needed to see this...
One of the most inspirational documentaries of all time. Wish I could do a beat for Jeezy.
