it’s definitely a theme i’ve noticed throughout most of her movies, which i’ve seen all but two or three of.
Juste la fin du monde is one of my favorites with her, since it’s similar in theme - a family drama saturated with complex characters that are very interesting to watch.
It’s kind of frustrating always seeing her characters be sexualized, objectified, especially by much older male characters. always felt so skeevy 😖 Or like in La Vie d'Adèle when she was objectified by the director 🙄
She’s one of my favorite actors of all time and I really love seeing her in more introspective and fun movies, just different than really sexual romances. But ah, that’s just how the french be lol
Anyways, I can’t wait to see Un beau matin ❤
