All the so called playback singers of today sing songs in bits and pieces in studios. Like Kumar Sanu mentioned, they even sing word by word whereas all songs until early 2000s were almost sung live. The irony is that in spite of the challenging times, songs of earlier days sounded better and singers were pitch perfect. That clearly shows the downfall of the music scene.
