- Another Wild Goose Chase Hunting Aussie Gold Nuggets in Western Australia with a Minelab GPZ 7000 Metal Detector. This time was a Solo Mission and I had a great Couple of days wandering around looking for Gold.

I've had my GPZ7000 nearly 8 years since it started out, and a couple of replacement coils later it paid itself back many times! You did exceptionally well, nice little trip. This weekend me and my daughters are back to our river down west. Been looking forward to our trip for ages. Loved your video. All the very best to you! 🌻

Mate great to see you back thought you had gone walkabout 😮😂, great vid thank you, hope you do many many more, hey I had a mate who use to prospect what he did is through freedom of information he applied for the details of any land where someone had applied for mining right or mineral rights then he would go out and look around he did ok from it, if someone has applied for mineral rights while they await approval anyone can go scanning there.. Any way be happy see you on the next epic 👍
Hey mate, cheers for the comment 🍻 yeah you can hit pending ground but unless it is a big mining company I won't go near it...already been abused on youtube here from other local prospectors who don't like people going on their pending leases...you can also easily see all the dead tenements from the last 100 years too, it certainly is a lot of work researching though. Sometimes I just like to go by eye and hit nice looking ground 👌

I guess its like the difference between the 2200 and the GP extreme.
We tested the difference on undug nuggets, the extreme won…… just like the 7k wins now.

Yeah 7k is a beast, still has its advantages over the 6k , I'm still surprised the last prospectors left over 12 grams for us so far...good to hear from ya mate, have a good one🍻👍

Finding gold in the surface of sand drifts, doesn’t make a whole lot of sense. I have done it many times. I would love to know how the gold can be in the top of the float. It an undisputed fact though. That’s where it can lay.
Gold is where you Find it aye , This Spot was interesting though because it was clearly an old patch worked with the GPX 4500 or 5000 so it shows how good the 7000 and the 6k is at cleaning it up..

Hey mate, It was running in High Yield, Difficult for Most of the Targets.
Deep, Difficult was also used at times, High yield , Normal produced too many false signals.
All other setting were left at factory settings. Sometimes the machine will just run really well when there isn't to much EMI going on, or if the ground itself is not too hot, That's why night detecting is great as the ground is cold and the machine runs smooth and quite.
