- Hey everyone!!!!! I’m back with yet another college video. You guys can see my dorm room which I absolutely loveeee. For future Pitt students I hope this helps you out when deciding on where to dorm and if you do end up with towers you’ll see that it’s not that bad. Thank you guys for watching!!!! That is so funny ! So much of the room is the same as when I went here, which was from '75-'79, so AGES ago ! Same dressers, same desks, the only thing is, there were built-in bolsters along the wall with padded fronts, and th e single beds slipped under them, sticking out enough to create kind of "sofa" against the padded bolsters as the back. The desks were along the wall on each side, at the windows, each facing the wall so your back would be to the other person.The dressers were together between the windows. Everything else is pretty much the same. I like how they painted the hallways tho ! We had just plaid, drab off-white halls.

hey! I’m going to be staying in tower a this upcoming fall, I was wondering if you and your roomate had a fridge & microwave and if so where did you keep that?
yes we did! we actually rented it and my roommate and I decided to keep it in her closet so it would be out of the way
I lived in tower A too!!
I had the perfect view last year, I completely faced the quad + Cathy, and was high enough that my view wasn't blocked.
ugh that's the dream view one of my friends had that it was soooo pretty

@@isabellazanghi8429 room 2. I was floor 15 but I think even a few floors lower you could still see cathy.

How is your experience in pitt like?
Those letters are so much more annoying to put on when you’re doing IVF cycles and how many eggs you got, how many embryos, embryos that would be able to be implanted, embryos that may end up as normal babies…💙💗🌈🤰
Was watching this for a young cousin starting at Pitt but I have that same letter board for my trying to conceive journey after 2 miscarriages and damn that’s painful….

@@erinnicole_ thanks for replying! Can I ask - i saw you had a laptop on your desk? Many parents are wondering whether they should get their kids a laptop or iPad. My kiddo is a bio major. She has a MacBook Air, but was thinking of trading it in and getting her an iPad Pro. Any thoughts on this?
@@bcgbear1 I got my daughter an iPad with a keyboard and the pencil. That is the best way I think...You can move around graphics and pop them into your notes. I graduated as a bio and chem major and I really wish the technology was available in the 90;s like today.
