- It seems like all my Porter Robinson remixes thus far have all been commissioned. I suppose people wanna hear my takes on these songs huhu.
Porter Robinson’s 2021 record, “Nurture”, in tandem with “Something Comforting” itself, was a message and series of emotions that I definitely needed to internalize at this stage in my life and career path as a musician. Although the overall outlook of the album was a positive one, LynxieOwO requested that I consider the song from a darker point of view - potentially viewing the song as a sort of “cry for help”. So that’s what this entails.

For some reason, the cover art accompanied with the astounding song gave a...well, a comforting feel. Something that all of this gives off a comfort, a comfort of the past. The nostalgia of the aesthetics...I don't recognize them. What gave off this feeling, but I'm glad this song and or music sparked that feeling. Amazing work as always Vylet, love your stuff.
