I love Jenny Han's casting of strong Asian American girls. This is something I didn't have much of growing up. Representation is important and it's about time. Can't wait for season 2!!
Hollywood has been doing that for ages. These female asian leads always get paired up with white dudes.

The Amazon top 10 best sellers are books by her and another writer. Not, they have books in the top 10, but they have all of them. Damn.
I just want to state for the record that to all the boys I loved before was the first Jenny Han book I read and I picked it up at my library with no prior knowledge of it. Gabbed it of the shelf because I loved the cover and it looked like a cute story. So those publishers are totally wrong! Love you Jenny Keep giving up these romantic stories.

She thinks she get better Asian representation by mixing an Asian female/white male. But it doesn't do anything for Asian representation at all.
