- Welcome to December's Build Battle video! This month we had so many awesome submission (I know, I say that every month but it's true). This was one of the first times I've specifically asked it to be obby themed, and I think the results were really impressive! Will definitely do more Obby themes in a future Obby Creator Build Battle on Roblox.

Mario I have a suggestion for the game you probably won’t ever see this but I know the first one is hard but
1. Camera part (can be edited by buttons)
2. A moving Button (This would be SOOO useful for so much contraption type obbies and would save part count for experience button makers)
Ideas for advanced tools:
Add properties to a part
for example: a moving truss or a killbrick trusses etc. etc. like having the ability to make some parts push able or teleportable, that would be useful for a lot of things for example: a moving seat part or a moving button, moving spin parts.
another I have is the group parts so that you can make custom things like a hollow push box
and finally a model marketplace for everyone, so imagine if you want something and you go to model marketplace and insert a model like a image, tree etc. and with advanced putting images as skyboxes would also eb cool for a custom skybox

My favorite obby here was probably the one made by gsgfter and Bluef1amesYT, because it's similar to my own obby style. While I'm here, here's an idea for Obby Creator: a blur effect for advanced tools users, alongside brightness, contrast, and saturation. And you can maybe choose the type of blur, like bokeh or motion. I hope I can be part of the next building competition.

Add "Gradient" effect to parts. This is only for cosmetics and also doesn't require any robux.
I have an idea that will be great for an NPC Arena:
NPC Player: An NPC that can basically do anything a normal player can do. It can either follow you and be friendly, or kill a target and chase them.

I have a few recommendations for Obby Creator.
Maybe add FOV?
Also a Negate plugin. Here's how it works:
You create a big part, right? You can use the Negate plugin to basically make a part with whatever shape you choose being a hole in it. You can choose where the hole will be, and the size of it too.
even though it’d be pretty hard to do (maybe I haven’t made any roblox studio games)
I think adding custom swords and gear would be cool maybe only if you turn off simple properties you could see a “gear customization” button, or just make a collab game with wubby, if you haven’t seen the game you should check it out it’s kinda obby creator but a bit more complicated
heres a thing you can add to the obby creator:
You can add a team block (basically, you can make teams and would be useful for fighting obbies with weapons . Example: if someone is on blue team and someone from blue team tries to kill them, it wouldn’t do anything since they are on the same team)

Can u make character morphs. Like you type a player id, then it turns into that player. Then, you use a morph button to link it with that player and you step or click the button to become that player

Hey Mario,I have 3 suggestions that you can add in a new update,I know you probably won’t see this but, I call it the “Expanding Part”, it can expand to the size you want it! it could probably help people a lot, the people that make explosions would need it a lot of the time!
the second is a fading version of the “Expanding part”, is can expand to the size you want,then fade back to its normal size!

the last one is for the gear part, it is a balloon! What you can do is you can color it to any color you want, or can change colors on its own! It can also make you float into the sky :D

you should make it so we could animate the player
Types: types are can change behavior of the blocks for example:
If you want your block to move it moves. It is very useful when you don’t have to build a moving car and is it very painful and waste of time trying to copy a car on that.
Any types can work
- Lava
- Spinning
- Timed
- Trip
- Any Advanced blocks or moving blocks moved into the Properties area to data near to shapes
If this get added into the game. It saves a lot of times to the creators. Also texture and image will effect too.
yo here's an idea for an update:
1. pressure plates activate for others - kinda like buttons, but except not timed. this would work insanely well for the people trying to make teamwork obbies, i tried to make one then i realized they dont activate for others. so this will help alot.
2. insert image for skybox (the comment below is the one who came up with this)
3. moving buttons - this could help for button animations, as once you press a button (sometimes) it cant be pressed again.
4. insert video ID's (idk if that was added already) - some of us wanna upload our own videos and put them here, im making an advertisement for an arcade and i cant add it to OC.
5. permanent models - yes, you heard me, permanent models. but the thing about them is that they'll cost 20 gems.
6. (this is the final one) MORE PREMADE SLOTS!!! - some of us rlly need more space for premades without losing our hardwork.
(edit) i forgot one more idea
7. add a POV part, this will help with horror games, because most people might not go first person.

Mario, i have a very great update idea. Make badges something that people can put in their game for people to find. It then saves to their account which is way better then what you have to do now since it gets rid of the badges the second you leave the obby.
GG! I completed the Egg Hunt and was the 13,134th user to get the special gift. It was a challenge for me. The hardest part was finding the featured player to get the Futured Faberge egg, lol.

Hey mario I have a idea can you make a moving spinning lava/part? No spin distance and no offset move okay? It's straight to the point only 2 moving and spinning stuff along with damage.
(ez, hold shift to actually move the spinning counterpart of the spinning moving lava and never hold anything for the moving counterpart)

Ideas for obby creator:
1. Create your vehicle, like car, helicopter, plane and boat.
2. Spinning moving part (timed, fading, lava, trip)
3. Spinning timed lava.
4. Moving timed lava.

Mario please add the "Rubber" material.
I have had ideas for a while but was lazy to make a video with them.
First idea: morphs. Morphs are creator with only charater models and multiple selected parts how they work is that there’s a effect called morph with morph you can change the Color of the pad and you can rig the parts with the names of your body parts in Roblox.
Second idea: timers. Timers are like the buttons except they count up or down from a time with the countdown option and the count up is when you choose any number of the timer and it’s a effect so you put it on a part and you can choose a font for the numbers.

I name it “Animation” and I’ll tell u what it is.

Basically, select the animation tool. You can make as much clips as you want. To animate, here’s an example: if you want to do a jumpscare or cutscene. Let’s example a cutscene. So imagine if you want someone to grab something. Add the first clip. And move the hand. There’s a play animation button and it will be the character grabbing something. For clip 2 move the hand back with the item, and test and it will hopefully work! So that’s how to do that. You can also animate the player. And also animate the items, walls everything! If it’s a jumpscare we will go to one of the first buttons in the animation tool.
Freeze Player

The button tells what it is. Freeze the player. Like how I mentioned the jumpscare. You can freeze the player. For another mention of the jumpscare let’s go to the 2nd button.
Kill Player

Basically it tells you what it does. Kills the player. But that’s a good thing to do for the last button.
Teleport Player
----------
Once you die from the jumpscare, you can get teleported if you tap the button. So use checkpoints wisely.
Or if you want another cutscene somewhere else.

1. Vine part, You grab on the vine and instead of climbing u move on it but not with physics, you control the vine!
2. Speed zones and jump zones, Basically like music zones but it controls speed or jump

thank you mario, the egg hunt sucks. i did all of the eggs instead of the cart ride one. the highway part with the cars is impossible and before that part is a waste of time, im not even counting the "getting off road for no reason reason" thing, makes more waste of time. Thank you, getting the UGC is impossible. İm gonna play something else for a whole month. Thank you. Choose the obbys rightly and by asking the people for the next egg hunt. it sucks.

Hi Mário, I wanted to talk about the issue of piece limits, this is really hurting me in doing my obbys, it's probably hurting other people too, it would be great to have limited pieces, a lot of people stopped playing because of that, and I'm seriously thinking about stopping too, no The day you leave limited pieces I'll play again, thank you i love you game
