I also used to cut some pieces. I had a bunch of lego spears so I cut the heads off of em leaving just enough handle for minifigures to hold and turned them into kunai for my ninja minifigures, I also used the leftover handles as bo staffs

I mean to be fair. You get a dozen of those sun visors and you've turned them from sun visors into be home and attached. Binoculars so it's not that much of a waste. It's pretty well done
Especially since every single Star wars fan has done that for custom bly

I made a lego crossbow once, i would shoot my brother to test how strong it was, normal it went like this: i shoot brother, he says it didn't hurt, end of testing BUT THIS TIME i shot him and he started balling it hurt that bad i shot myself and i was in pain for a solid ten 15 minutes.
