Fix DVR resolution too high. Thank you this was very helpful. I found my DVR's IP from my router then browsed to it through a browser and was able to login to the NVR menu to reduce the output resolution from 4k.

I have an alternative way, but need really technical.
1. as we know Hik-connect apps able to search the device.
2. Connect Hik-connect to the router that connected to this DVR
3. Use Hik-connect by click “+” > “online device”
4. It able search it out the device.
5. As we know have the device, u can use ur mobile browser to access into DVR
6. Than you can adjust it.
Our phone browser also able access configuration part to do setting but not able motoring.

Yes Hik-Connect app on Android phone can connect to the DVR once it is on the network with WiFi 👍👍👍

Dear, I have16 channal F series DVR. Suddenly have no VGA signal when restart the DVR. Power supply is ok. RED LED is lighting. but Hard disk Blue LED is not lighting. can you help me?

According information given, ur dvr are no display, does ur network still available?
If ur HDD no blinking therefore ur HDD not writing. It means the HDD spoil or adapter not enuf power it up.
If the DVR unit still under warranty, kindly sent it to Hik Vision Service or Hik Vision Seller that u buy from them.
If over warranty, get the new unit DVR
Or kindly refer below (but it too technical)
1.Take out the HDD and replace the new adapter
2. If still no display, if network still able access, try upgrade the latest firmware’s
3. After all doing these. The DVR need to replace with new unit, cause that is Mainboard have issue already.

Regarding this, bettee reboot and direct plug in ur laptop into dvr. Wether the IP, will turn to 192.168.1.64

The password is your device activation password. The device will ask you to activate it by setting a username and password to activate it when you boot up the device for the first time.

Red color? On display… does the ref color was output from dvr. U need check on the dvr site already. The dvr might need troubleshooting.

It dun have common IP address. If ur side have encounter this, kindly use SADP tools to scan your device on your network.
