Wow! So many years not listening, mourning Pavarotti, and missing this great singer-musician-actor. The great voices have power to heal and uplift... to "raise the hearts of men and bring (them) back to Heaven again..." (Iacones shows his versatility and different styles... with Pluhar and the Arpeggiato... and the Stabat Mater with Emoke Barath and Stutzman...)
Can't think of anyone doing Orfeo better than he does.

In America people eat pizza with their hands. American media tells us that in Italy they use forks & knives. Does that hurt his inner throat to sing like that? Does he treat his diet differently to protect his cords? My life has been difficult and I've had teeth knocked out. I only have two teeth left. Life is difficult for me. Food is difficult for me because I'm homeless and food quality is always a challenge for me. Sometimes it hurts to stay alive. Does he find it necessary to be very careful with food? I hope he doesn't have to be careful.

Mai ascoltato nulla di piu' sgradevole e ridicolo. Voler cantare per forza da donna....voce fissa, ottenuta poi con degli sforzi sul viso evidenti...manco poi fosse Alain Delon...non c'e' alcuna espressione, non si comprende una parola...respingente. Pure gli accompagnatori "a chitarre"...sarebbe questa filologia? E tutti che ci credono...Nel '600 si rompevano le scatole cosi? Hanno trovato la maniera di lavorare gabellando il gusto del pubblico. Non credo che restera' molto di queste "memorabili" esecuzioni nella Storia della Musica.
Ciccio, se non ti piace non l'ascoltare, ma non criticare visto che non hai nemmeno le basi per poterlo fare...
Per la cronaca, lo strumento che hai chiamato "chitarra" è in realtà una Tiorba.
Fabrizio Maria...fossi un po rosicone?:) ce ne fossero di questi artisti! scusa il termine poco fine, ma mi rompo le scatole ad ascoltare commenti insensati. Qualcosa che stia artisticamente alla pari con la musica del 500-600 adesso ce lo possiamo solo sognare e se qualcuno ci rende ( con grande abnegazione) quei tesori dovremmo solo ringraziarlo.
