    I made my own version of this a few days ago because I was doing bad, and I remembered the settings from all the previous call of duty’s you made this drill on, and I can honestly say that this made me play better for the rest of the day. You can really notice a huge difference from before you do the drill to after, even if you only do this for about 100 kills. If anyone is new to this drill and is wondering if it’s worth doing, it definitely is

    Constructively speaking, I’d say that while running this drill you should use the exact class set ups that you would be using in a multiplayer match. Taking into consideration how much the attachments affect your weapon’s recoil and handling, it would probably be best to use said attachments while warming up.

  • @GenericInternetter
    @GenericInternetter Před 4 lety +17

    I notice you're doing something very important that most tutorials miss: You're aiming at the sweet spot, the lowest central point of the head. Face on, it's the chin, from the side, it's the bottom point of the ear (earlobe). Aiming at the lowest central point of the head means that if you don't pull down enough against the recoil, it travels up, giving headshots. If you pull down too strong, you still land body shots.
    I see too many players aiming at center mass. Sometimes they pull down to strong and miss shots between the legs, other times it recoils up into the chest, but never reaches the head. Once you get used to landing at least 1 or 2 headshots with every burst, you'll start to see the TTK shrink as you cut through the enemy like butter.

Then you can switch over to the regular amount of health and either do the warmup regular or headshot only to improve aim. The best way to become accurate is to play free for all using a 2 round shotgun. It limits your ammo, so you have to conserve ammo and not just spray with a gun. Plus it forces you to learn to be more sneaky, since you need to get closer to the enemy to kill him.

    I honestly enjoy the TTK in this game. Yes it results in BAD players camping all the time because they are scared to get into a shootout, but the fast TTK forces you not only to get better at landing the first shot but it also forces you to think about positioning and whether or not you should rush or play patiently. There are plenty of options for countering campers, it’s just that running directly at them and jumping around and drop shotting them isn’t one of them. It’s like if CoD players can’t just rush nonstop and play in everyone’s face they think the game is broken. This game just involves a bit more focus on strategy , positioning and map control and less on running around like a crackhead. I’d say the vast majority of shooters play something like this, most older CoD games are essentially arcade shooters, and so is MW when you break it down, but I appreciate the added bit of realism and strategy that the faster TTK provides.

It all depends on what style you're using (wrist/arm/hybrid) keep your dot at a higher area but don't focus on it because you'll have slower reaction times. Practice your flicks with an mp7 and your accuracy with the revolver, do as many jumpshots and slideshots as possible.

In my sweatiest moments i had to take off my headset and play music to focus. No game audio and with music was the way I practiced against bots over the years. My predictions would then be on point but then you can't hear foot steps, knifing or missed shots. Playing with my A40s is a distraction now so my 2cents would be to play with game sound and be patient with letting the flow state come to you. Now, it's more difficult for me to play with game audio than without.

    Try running this with headshots only it's practically the same; I mean odds are you're going to get some center mass shots when you're going for headshots or headshots that follow into center mass shots but it's mostly going to improve your ability to headshot. While missing headshots as they translate into center mass shots or translating center mass shots to headshots is a waste on headshot only mode it'll help when you actually play against others. I do it with mixed bots but it can similarly be done with recruit bots it doesn't really matter too much. After running this routinely I'm snapping to people's head with ease and rarely wasting shots above the head if anything I'm getting more headshots, more center mass shots translating into headshots, and it's easier to translate headshots into center mass shots.
    On another note, if anyone hasn't realized it you can similarly work on guns to find the best configuration in terms of recoil control, ads/mobility, accuracy, and range in private matches as well as just generally test out guns (whether base or fully kitted.)

    As much as I agree with your training method, a good disclaimer is that you can’t get better at aiming unless your sensitivity is properly adjusted to your hand-eye coordination. If you can’t handle a 10 sensitivity then don’t practice on one bcuz It only encourages bad habits. You don’t need a pin point sensitivity but just one that feel somewhat natural and as you practice you’ll begin to feel where and why you keep missing

      The last CoD I played was Black Ops 1. This CoD reminds me a lot of the older CoDs. I’m surprised so many people are upset by it, I must’ve seriously missed something in the evolution of Call of Duty.

      @cyanideisfun Před 4 lety +4

      @@sorenkazaren4659 Well. BO1 was 9 years ago. Since BO1, CoD changed a LOT, especially in the titles I loved, the titles with the Advanced Movement and such. Don't get me wrong, MW-MW3 were damn near masterpieces. Especially MW2, that was when I got into competitive gaming as a whole. But the thing is, is MW2 encouraged all sorts of tactics to use. You want to run and gun? You got it bro. Wanted to quickscope? Here's the best sniper in the game, the Intervention. Want to camp and spam noobtubes the whole 10 minutes? Here's One Man Army.
      My point being, was that you had options as to how you wanted to play the game. But this new Modern Warfare sticks a claymore and a 725 in your hands and tells you to shut up and like it, or to leave. The game allows no more room to run and gun; it restricts the options players have to play. Which is odd when you think about it. Previously, the problem was boring, unmaneuverable, 3 lane maps that were tunnels to the middle of the map. This time, the maps are not an issue so much as the core, backbone gameplay.
      If the game forces you to hunker down and wait for players that are doing the exact same thing, the game stalls. I've never had so many draws or games ended due to time. It's insane to think that a 75 kill, 10 minute TDM is won/lost because time ran out. If you told me that back when I was playing MW2, I would have thought you were crazy.
      I'm all for CoD trying new things. The thing is, is it has to be *new*. I already played Modern Warfare. I appreciate the work they did, as the game is a work of art...unless you're trying to play any form of multiplayer or spec ops. The campaign is a 9/10, the attention to detail, the sound design, the flow of the missions, the look of the guns, the environment; everything. It seems like those who worked on the actual gameplay didn't share the same inspiration that the teams who designed the audio, the visuals, the acting, etc.
      I just want to go back to the times when I had fun playing a Call of Duty game.

      @cyanideisfun Před 4 lety

      @@sorenkazaren4659 The Advanced Movement era of CoD titles is something I'm sad you missed out on. Black Ops III was truly the last relatively "good" title, imo. Because, in those titles, the game's TTK was much higher, and if you got shot, you could turn around and challenge by flying up or jumping around and sliding away from the gunfight. Camping, in my experience, was a less-than-effective strategy, as those games encouraged people to move around.
