The first 2 series were classics. Then it lost its charm when they brought it back for the 3rd and 4th series for BBC1 and the spin off Au Revoir were poor.
Oh this has just made me smile from ear to ear 😃 childhood memories watching the show with my dad , the best tv show ever written - classic they don’t make it like that anymore 😢
It was a fantastic programme. Shame Gary Holton could not be there. I was a bricklayer in those days and I nearly had to go to Germany to find work. I worked with lads who'd been there and they said they were treated like second class citizens. Thank goodness AP put a great gloss on it. Wonderful characters and everyone in the building trade knows an Oz. 😊
