My sims unicorn had a baby unicorn
No, they're not a thing. The horn just functions as a cosmetic item, like jewelry or glasses do for human sims. Not surprising EA half-assed it again lol
@@casualdelulu Not sure those horses in this video are using the mod. They seem to just be acting like EA horses. Whiny Brit deffo has the mod, but this seems like a pure EA pack test.

The pregnant horse's bump should be closer to the back of the body. But this horse looks like she has something wrong with her lungs. I guessing that Maxis didn't do there due diligence when researching horses or they couldn't get it to work properly. Probably a little of both. LOL.
There was so much more that could have been incorporate; obstacle course for horses, sheep riding for children, putting in brooms and mops. There is a lot of depth missing.
Supposedly they spent a week on a farm or something researching horses and learning but I'm guessing they weren't able to see everything in that time period. Definitely should've done more research outside of that though
Well, I have never lived on a farm, but I did live near some farms. Spent some time around farm animals a couple of times. I watched a few documentaries about animals. And I know more about animals than everyone at Maxis combined. LOL. Some examples are, I know that, at most rodeos, the rider is on the horse when they enter the competition. Not during every event. Sometimes, the rider mounting the horse is part of the show. But Maxis makes the rider dismount the horse in order to enter the competition assembly. The horse and rider don't even enter the building side by side. Normally, the rider will be holding the reins for safety reasons alone. You have thousands of spectators talking, maybe cheering, anything can go wrong. Also, in real competitions, the horses will do numerous controlled turns around the barrels. The best that Maxis could give is a horse going around in circles? The first Assassin's Creed game gave more than that, and it was created in 2007. Minus the beautiful artwork in the Sims 4, which is exactly what Maxis counts on, Maxis gives the bare minimum for highest payout. A real horse and rider suffer greatly for a placement in a competition, never mind a grand standing. You would think that Maxis would want and could do it justice. I've seen amazing things in video gaming, from Asteroids to Zelda to Assassin's Creed to Mass Effect to Skyrim, I could go on for days. And this is the best that Maxis could come up with? An overpriced, beautiful game where everything barely works? A lot of the stuff doesn't make sense and should be removed from the game? Maxis should have researched more? No, they should have just cared about a product that has their names on it and has loyal customers who are fans as well. But alas! Money is the only thing that matters to Maxis. It's sad because the Sims 4 could have been Epic.

@julesroberts962 I'm not presenting an argument about unicorns. I'm presenting an argument about an overpriced game where most of it is broken. Even things that should make sense don't make sense. If you played any of the Assassin's Creed games. You would know that the company who made the games actually cared about their customers and went above and beyond. And, the games actually worked consistently, and if they didn't, they fixed them. I use the Assassin's Creed games as an example because they created the programming that perfectly mirrors real horses. The players control everything with the horses, and they work like real horses. In this pathetic attempt, by EA Games and Maxis, the horses are point and click technology, not players controlling everything. On top of everything, they charge top dollar for this debacle. Unicorns are not even on the list of things that is wrong with the Sims 4 and its DLCs.
The horn is technically an accessory so it won't be born with one. But I did have a "unicorn" with that sparkle skin have two babies with an all black stallion and one baby came out looking like the mom with the sparkle skin and the other came out like that dad. Also, why don't you lock your door for the horses 😂
If you want an actual unicorn baby play sims 3 adopt a couple unicorns and breed them.

I’ve tried this before and to be fair, the horn is purely cosmetic so that’s why the foal came out as a normal horse. Technically the parents are normal horses, they just have a unicorn horn as an accessory so you won’t be getting a unicorn that way.
I dont understand why they created sims 4 if its a downgraded version of sims 3. Like when you make a new version ,its suppose to be better and include more advance playrole advantages in it than the last,but it seems they went backwards and eliminated alot of cool features 😅😢
The excuse given by Maxis as to why SimCity (2013) went backwards from SimCity 4 was that they wanted to simplify the game for new players to the franchise. I remember at the time folks saying things along the lines of: “So anger the existing fans of the franchise on behalf of possible new fans. Except if existing fans are upset and trashing the game, it’s not likely to draw in new people. Seems like a tactic to shoot oneself in the foot.” I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s the excuse/logic they used with Sims 4. I didn’t play Sims 3, but loved the original game and loved how Sims 2 expanded up the original game. Sims 4 even feels backwards/downgraded version of Sims 2. On the plus side, Sims 4 didn’t have the must always be online, must play with others features like SimCity (2013) did…but that’s probably because SimCity (2013) failed so badly with the target audience (Maxis hasn’t even bothered to make another SimCity game despite the fact that they literally could probably win back the target audience if they made the effort). And seeing other developers now encroaching on the life simulation genre it makes me wonder if Maxis will fight for the only successful franchise they still have (because they certainly haven’t fought for any of their other games: SimCity, SimFarm, SimTower, SimAnt, SimEarth, SimPark, SimCoaster, SimCopter, SimLife, SimHealth, SimIsle, SimTown, SimGolf, SimSafari, Sim Theme Park, etc….all of which other companies took the ideas of and made better versions of. I think Spore is maybe the only game and genre Maxis has made that hasn’t been taken up and improved upon by other companies, but they stopped working on more of that after 2014 and just focus exclusively on Sims content: Sims 4, Sims Mobile, Sims FreePlay, and apparently now whatever Project Rene is going to be).
I've heard that there is a mod for unicorns. I think that is the only way to have actual unicorns.

A game pack, and they couldn't even match what sims 3 gave us. But at least we got mini farm animals that would have been better suited for the farm pack. But no legit unicorns in a pack starring horses. At this point, EA should just play with fidgit spinners and let modders take over making the game. Sales would skyrocket lol
I didnt realize that you actually thought unicorns were a thing in the game. We could have saved you some time. I thought you were testing if they come out looking the same as or a mix of the parents. I wish it was a mix but sadly its just one or the other.😂 vampires, aliens, werewolves, mermaids.. all real in the sims 4 universe. But we couldn’t get a freaking magical horse

I haven't even had a foal yet lol. I did change my horse to a unicorn for a while but the noises they make sound too much like the ghost noises and it makes my ears hurt so I changed him back 😂😂😂
A few years back we had a bag of tomato plant fertilizer. It worked wonders. I’ve tried growing tomatoes several times, and that was the fastest, healthiest season. But the bag said it was made with chicken shit, and, oh my, was that obvious. It fully smelled like fully digested corn and plant-based pellets. I only had cats at the time with scented litter. Now I have 4 dogs, and eating meat makes a huge difference. There’s always a bit of deer crap in our yard (and maybe on the dogs if they run around recklessly). That almost entirely smells like grass with a hint of poop. I can only be grateful that those chickens weren’t given leftover pizza and stuff. It was potent 😅
I think EA explained why they decided to make the horn cosmetic that it would have looked weird when the babies nursed from the mothers the horns would be stabbing them.

Yes they are a thing, it just takes some time and alot of patience... I had to keep breeding my unicorns and after an abundance of regular foals I finally got a unicorn foal but its a rarity for sure!

No unicorns aren't really a thing in the sims 4. The developers have already confirmed the horn is just cosmetic. They're just horses you can dress up to look like unicorns.

Baby Unicorns aren't a thing because unicorns don't really exist in sims 4. Yup, you just painted horse and put a horn on it's head, lol. But it's good to have confirmed evidence. :)
