Good day Garret, I've been researching trust but don't have enough equity in order to launch one. How would I set up a private unincorporated business under the common law and still be able to invest in like real estate vs. LLC., S corps, etc.? Thanks.

Is the death benefit considered an Asset and does it improve your Net worth? I have $100k in Cash values in which I borrowed out $95k of it for Real estate investing.

Aren’t those types of insurance plans very expensive?

    • @nickrose9183

It completely depends on your age, sex, health history, and then how coverage in place. A change in any of those variables will change your premium. This one reason why so many insurance agents try to call you or visit. They need details to even give you a ball park. So many people don’t know this and refuse to ever talk with an agent. It’s like asking a car dealership if a car is expense. You have to narrow down car type, make/model, year, miles, and your credit history for financing rates or to see if you even qualify for this car. All this is needed to even get an idea of what your cost will be. Same idea for life insurance.

You got some great advice. However, I would not tell people to stop investing in securities. Some of the richest men on planet earth made their fortune by doing this. Just because people are not expert traders or value investors, you shouldn't tell them it is not a good investment.
It's the same with any endeavor, if one is sucky at it, they won't do good. People that are knowledgeable perform well in almost any investment. You wouldn't tell someone to flip a house If they didn't know their numbers.
You should be saying that the power of compound interest is one of the best wealth building tools when utilized well. 99% of the people, however, will never be extremely wealthy doing this. Same with anything. Most start ups fail etc.
But, with all that said, you shouldn't be dissing on investing in securities. I could be mistaken, but I would bet everything I own that you're not wealthier than Warren Buffett.

Warren buffet is not a regular investor tho. He’s a type of investor that can influence the trend of a stock. An average investor can not
