The French with huge Beard is Sebastian Chabal 🇫🇷🐓
@@christophermichaelclarence6003 Chabal is the Goat in Europe (with the long hair) your definition is exact and "rugby is a gangster sport playing by Gentleman and soccer is a Gentleman sport playing by gangster" big up from Swiss
😂😂😂😂
Oh OMGOM! ITS TRUE DUDE
@@christophermichaelclarence6003 l’anesthésiste, Caveman, Attila are some of his nickname !!! 😁
What is absolutely hilarious is the fact that these guys leave the field then go grab a beer together, yes, with the opposing team, and are almost always totally chill. Gentlemen off the field, absolute animals on it. Rugby is such a great sport.
Football is a gentlemans game played by thugs, rugby is a things game played by gentlemen ❤
@@shaunnaann5445 Sure... at least in my country rugbiers are the wors kind of people when they go out party... they always go in groups and get very aggresive very quick and last year a group of young adult rugby player k1ll3d a inocent regural young guy outside of the disco cuz he accidentaly push one of them... and stories like this about rugbiers are ALOT.
@@martinksk88 Must be Scottish :D
Rugby is a sort of american football but for real men…
and is 90% safer than NFL
Play an American football game without pads and I guarantee you would be in the hospital day 1 with severe skull and spinal cord injuries.
@@stevenconway1783that’s just what you guys think cos you’re a bunch of pussies I’ve seen some of nfls biggest hits and it looks soft as fuck.
@stevenconway1783 no because you'll stop every minute
@@christiaancoetzee4127 plays don't last a minute. And you'll be lined back up every 15 to 20 seconds. So that's really a criticism. You're just more familiar with rugby, so you think that's the only thing you'll like. Till you try something new of course.
Chabal is actually a gentle giant off the pitch and a true gentleman
No, I'm a french fan, when I was young he played in a small tournament (challenge Armand vaquerin) in a small town, we where like 10 childrens and we wanted to go talk to him to say how much we loved see him play. No phones, we where not here for photos.
When his team finished the game every player take the time to go thank the kids, not Chabal. He was the only one to go far away from the crowd. Not a gentleman.
Same with Eben Etzebeth.
@monsieursarcasme7064 he was a gentleman when I met him, perhaps you just caught him on a bad day?
@micheinnz never met Etzbeth myself, from interviews he seems like a nice chap
@@monsieursarcasme7064you can’t base a man’s whole entire existence off one occurrence. Maybe he just wasn’t interested in socializing with the public that day, or maybe he got some bad news about a friend or family member…we just don’t know what goes on in other people’s lives to make them do the things they do, and we shouldn’t judge who they are based on the one or two very brief moments we have experience or interaction with them. I think you’re just very disappointed that you couldn’t meet him and that makes you a little upset or maybe even angry at him.
Love how Chabal was just glanced over... He was called "the Beast"/"The Cannibal"/"The Caveman" for a reason... man when he played the fear was visible on other players when he was on the opposite team...
Though, as mentioned by others, a Gentle Giant and a proper gentleman off field....
They should have shown the Haka in the 2007 RWC. The French in red, Chabal in the center, encroaching and locking eyes with the NZ players. That guy was out for blood
I remember Jaremy Clarkson's words about Rugby:
Rugby is somewhat like American Football, but is played by Men, not Cowards in Armor (I should Clarify)
Clarkson is generally considered a Wanka in the UK and not much better than the drunken comedy uncle at Xmas parties.
Clarkson is wrong. NFL players are good
@@chilly5321 Sure...
Gather the best team of NFL players, take their armors and helmets away and pin them against New Zealand, Australia, France, Scotland, Ireland, Italy, Wales, South Africa or Fiji and I assure the NFL team would get minced and humilited 9 out of 10 times!!!!
Hell, even against a weak team like Georgia or Portugal they would loose...

Your pitiful opinion is formed of your own biased ignorance. Well done.
As a European, I love football (Soccer) and of course, rugby. It may not seem like it, but rugby has a lot of strategy combined with power. You can even compare it to a game of chess! It's an addictive sport because even when you're not scoring, there's always a lot of action and it's the details in those moments that make the difference between winning and losing.
Back in the seventies I played Rugby as a scrum half. Weighing only 140lbs I was fast, because I didn't want to die.😱
The fact you lads remembered our dear Boy Jonah Lomu is amazing! thank you
Never ever forgotten, the man was a giant of rugby, taken way too soon, respect from Cymru , Wales
Yes, absolutely.
As a South African. I have huge respect for Jona on and off the pitch
One of the best to lace up a pair of boots, big respect from an Englishman in Wales
Jonah Lomu is a rugby legend, one of the best rugby players of all time ! Impossible to forget him. From France
sebastien chabal ( a french player) has many nickname but one of his biggest is "the caveman" he is not a very good player on the technical side BUT on the physical side he is a " beast" (the beast is another of his nickname)! even for his huge body build he is extremely quick and his strenght is "demonic"!
More Chabal videos for sure, that guy was a beast
Beast? What, a pussy cat?
Not against Los Pumas in 2007 World Cup 😂😂

The guy who headbutted the player he had just tackled to the ground in the back of the head - Bakkies Botha - actually decided to retire from rugby because he realised with all the new rules and technology implemented into the game, he’d be sent off every single game.
Eben Etzabeth isn't an enforcer, Bakkies Botha on the other hand is the classic enforcer. In the words of one of his coaches, ' Bakkies was put on earth to cause pain '
enforcers are there to protect the smaller players and make the opposition regret any illegal acts on the stars - Bakkies was just a thug
@@naas699utter crap, you are a poes, grow a brain before commenting.
Bakkies was a reliability even in his time, no one knew how long he would be on the field before shown a card, the Boks simply progressed with the times and Etsabeth was a breathe of fresh air in comparison.
@@groenrizla2513 he was always a reliability, you are right, the best player by miles
@tonic8945 i Dont agree with your commend. The reason behind this is that bakkies came before Eben and the rules was different back then. Eben is 100% an enforcer and bakkies was also the enforcer, they play the same role and Eben does the same job as Bakkies but Eben has more rules to apply to not to get carded. SA has always had great physical players but these two sole purpose is to hurt/intimate the other players. Both does and did a great job.
Jonah Lomu put Rugby on the Map in the mid 90's made me fall in love with Rugby as a Kid
James small took lomu off the map
Lomu didn't put anything on the map that wasn't already there
@@davidgraham8299jonah lomu changed the game the backs became alot bigger
Jonah long was one he'll of a player and deserves all the plaudits. But rugby was on the map before him, and sadly, after.
People are always talking about the no protective gear, body slams and tackles but no one mentions the knocks to the head and stomping on your feet in rucks with . That hurts like hell too.
Or the bastards that pinch your inner thighs when in a scrum 😂
yes they do.
I used to live near Chabal when he was at Sharks. Lovely fella
I'm glad so many people play Rugby, otherwise, the rest of us would be in danger.
If you want to see the most feared person in rugby you need to watch some Nigel Owens videos. The man was feared by everyone
I came from Ireland and played for NY in the first season of the MLR and it was literally all dudes that didn’t get picked at the NFL combines. Absolute physical specimens. USA will have a powerhouse of a team in years to come when it starts to gain more traction in the states!
Most of these guys are retired and most of these plays won’t be tolerated in todays game.
Looking at another player is a red cardable offense nowadays 😂😂
@@shintenkai1648 agreed no longer the exciting game it used to be. Always loved rugby but getting harder to watch, destroyed by overcomplicating the rules and whistlehappy refereeing.
Todays game in England because anything hard is a penalty. Soft rugby.
retired rugby players change to the NFL
Depends on where you play…. 😂 if it’s televised, which league etc. I do agree SOME go NFL that’s easy-exchange their whole Career for a scripted, padded, rule enforced sport with a salary to match Hollyweird?
Ok, I’d be in, too smh😂😂!
Unlike many commenters, I got fam who played for both island National teams and who then started playing for euro leagues, EVEN IF NOT ON A NATIONAL LEVEL team, simply because they ACTUALLY get paid, lol. 😂
More than a fan would know… Especially certain islands. It’s considered a privilege to play; no pay involved. Stupid for how talented these players are…
Once the players with a brain OR a family to support figures it out, they gone do exactly what WE would do.
Oh, I can actually make $X.xx to play??? Aight bet!
AKA- the reason you see islanders playing for other teams vs their hometown island.
For example- why would you play for another country or culture when you’re one of the best players in the league or in your own country???
Money. Go from making nothing to millions ? Easy choice! Not NZ & the Allblacks necessarily.
The poorer islands? Yup! 100% exactly
Numbers 1-8 tight forwards are big boy's. 1&3 are 120kg 6'3". 2 is the small 110 kg 6 footer. 4&5 are 115kg and 6'6" to 6' 9". 6 7&8 are loose forwards around 110 kg and over 6 foot. Even the faster backs, can be big boy's. Jonah Lomu is the best example. Cheers from NZ.
thanks for the breakdown I just grouped them according to NFL so the Americans can understand. thats why I like rugby it really is a sport fthat win or loose on body types.
Jonah lomu in the 1990's was age 19 6ft 5" 19st 100m in just over 10secs was unheard of back then.
Now backs that size and speed is normal with.
@@jermaineabrahams2483yes different body types for different jobs on the pitch. Rugby union has become more civilised never see fighting, or much foul play and game is much safer in the last 20 years. Rugby League a similar sport to Rugby Union but is brutal 💪🏻
It’s funny that people think todays rugby is brutal, you should watch some rugby from 30 years ago and older, those guys were beasts
You just profiled 2 of the very best #4 ever Eben and Bakkies both played for "my" team Toulon. So did Gorgo #8 and Tuisova "14. Toulon's now rebuilding but they are 3X European Champions. RCT! RCT! RCT!
I played rugby in the 80's. Once. Knickers to that! I used to work with guys that played rugby at the weekend and they would come in on Monday with assorted bits missing. I'm happy playing golf! Mostly, you can play a round without being seriously injured. Apart from the odd 6 iron to the shoulder when you forget to shout 'fore'. Apparentely!
Definately one of the better youtube videos about rugby ... people should see this video. Great work
chabal .. got some speed for a big man
4:13 (Bakkies Botha) he's the original Enforcer, you should do a reaction on him. He'd literally slap anyone that steps up to him. He always looked for confrontation... ALWAYS!
a real enforcer makes sure their stars are protected and any opposition who takes liberties against them will suffer consequences. Botha was a thug.
Tbos Bakkies had no regard for human life lol ..he was a wrecking machine
Vincent karalius
Interesting story about Gorgodze he use to bring a traditional Georgian knife to games. He use to play with it in the knife in the tunnel between the changing rooms while looking at the opposition.
The green uniforms with yellow trim are the Australian team and the Black is the New Zealand team. Looking forwards to NRL rugby in Australia - starting in March 2024.
Never forget the moniker:
Football (soccer) is a game for gentlemen that is played by thugs.
Rugby is a game for thugs played by gentlemen.
You will not find a rugby match with the players kicking the shit out of each other. If they have a rough-up, it will be settled with handshakes, even if there is blood dripping.
Rugby founded at ‘Rugby’ school for boys( gentlemen) . No silly armour need. Only for real men
"Arturo gatii" vs "micky ward"
most brutal boxing trilogy ever

Great reaction video, guys! Made me smile and brought back happy but painful memories of my career.
Thank you for watching
awesome rugby reactions guys!
R.I.P Jono Lumo. He did admit after 1995 final loss against SA that he struggle with our defense and cant break it
Lomo was something else. Just a beast. We in South Africa loved the guy although we didn't always admitted it. Wish we had someone like him.
RIP Jono Lomu, what a warrier and athlete. He garnered great respect amongst South Africans not only for his tremendous prowess but also as a great and humble person. He played rugby in the true All Black spirit, hard, fast and tough.
Also Lumo was on dialysis and still ran over players like he was playing against primary schoolers man was beast
Jonah Lomu
@@reconquistaahead1602 The spelling may be incorrect but the meaning stays the same...the man was a beast and a legend in his own time. Wish we had just one of him. From a Saffer
Sacré Chabal , je les croisés a Paris en 2012 , j'étais au feu rouge et il est passer devant moi , il faisait la taille de mon camion ahah , il en a casser des mâchoires 😆😆 Big up les gars de Dunkerque France 👍👋
Ruby a sport for men football is for the boys that is from my father and older brother both played rugby. I love rugby both League and Union.
Watch Fiji Rugby playing in the quarter finals in FRANCE 🇫🇷!
Rugby man... That's why the French are so into it.
It's "soccer" (for the popularity), "football" (because you occasionally kick the ball), but without all the commercial BC that the US added to the game.
Basically, it's a "manly" form of "soccer".
And then "culture"... The after-game is "reconciliation", usually at the local pub.
And like that, as hard the match was, all is well. Yes so-and-so dunked "you" during playtime...
But "he" is amongst the one paying for the beers that afternoon. Just sayin'
Played "college" Rugby 7 years here in France. Best years of my life.
RIP, Jonah. The GOAT…and I’m Australian.
Caveman was a beast! 🙌🏾 total respect to that legend
American football is as fun as watching paint dry on a freshly painted wall
7:29 Yes. Chabal. Sébastien Chabal aka "The Caveman". 😂
Boys boys you just earned a new fan ......Bokke all the way🇿🇦
Watched Chabal when he played for Sale Sharks, he was defo impressive and a giant
One to watch, Johna Lomu takes on half the England team and scores the try, goes through at least 7 players 👌
jona lomu's was a genetic freazk at his time in rugby imagine a guy like kelce from KC with the speed of deon sanders in his prime
That the best French number 8 in the world in the background I see
We used to play Rugby Union at grammar school. It is a man's game. As in tough.
There is one thing about rugby that you don't see in many other sports and that's they don't argue with the ref. What he says goes. Football (soccer to our cousins across the pond) on the other hand a player falls over if a light wind passes him by and if the ref doesn't believe him he'll throw a tantrum and start arguing. Regby players seem to have a lot of respect for the ref.
Bakkies Botha he was the most aggressive springboks player in a history of rugby sound the world,he cause 95% of most horrific injuries to any team that plays springboks and he still hold that title up to this day.🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦
The number 1 ranked team in the world Ireland are playing the Springboks the number 2 ranked team tomorrow.
There's a rugby league player called Paul Wood - just read about him in the Super League Grand final in 20212. A real hard man.
The All Black's (from Nouvelle-Zélande) and the Springboks (from South Africa) are the best for me and Chabal from France it's a gentleman the Goat
I had a Brit friend that played this and said that he broke almost every bone and dislocated his shoulder 7 times and had his ear lobe almost bit off twice. I said "Yeah, right!", then he took me to a game...
Yes ear bit off, eyes literally gouged out, and sadly people have become disfigured disabled and in some extreme cases have died
10:15 Because he's Owen Farrell, lol. A top tier player, who is also infamous for disastrously wrong, or simply illegal, tackling techniques.
Farrell wasn't trying to smash him though, he was going for a choke tackle so his team mates could join in support and try to force a maul to hold the ball up and either slow it down or win a scum. Genge plays with him for England and knew what to expect, so it failed.
The thing I was ment too mention about the ball size. AFL ball is easily held on too cos it’s smaller. ❤❤❤❤❤
The 2024 season opener (2 games) of the Australian National Rugby League are being played at Allegient Stadium Las Vegas this year, Saturday March 2nd, 6:30PM kick off Vegas time. Its being fully televised on Fox Sports 1 or the Fox Sports app in the US
You guys should film a reaction 👍
The best reactions ever👏👏👏
When you grow up playing rugby and enjoy every minute of it , you get to understand why people who don't play rugby are scared of it. Boy's me and my brother's have been playing rugby for over 25 years and we love it. I suppose it's all about what you are brought up with.
Have a look at Australian 'Aussie Rules' football. I was 3ed team All-American in football and am now an Oz citizen. For a continent the size of America with a population of 20 million, these guts punch above their weight.
Chabal French player was something else ^^ he was respected or (feared) from everyone.
In rugby union punches are rarely thrown. That means a red card, and ejection from the game if you throw a pucnh. Followed by a ban from future matches. A minimum of 2 games, but usually more
,Never a punch thrown nonsense , did you play girls rugby ,I played rugby many years ago , if if one punch was thrown you all piled in , if someone was playing dirty as an ex boxer my job to calm them down . as the great Willy John McBride said when playing the All Blacks " right lads we will get our retaliation in first ". , the Rugby you re talking about when all can be seen on TV , stupid yellow and red cards and to many penalties killing the game . only ever seen one player sent off for punching too often .
My guy ✊🏽
Lomu was a specimen... Something hard to believe, a 6'5" for around 220/230lb. who can run the Olympic 100m. in 10.7.... an impact force like that is something you don't wanna test
I would love for you guys to check out
Sam Burgess. Or as he was known. “Slammin Sam”. A legend!

When I was 15 I was playing on mens teams ha I was and still am 5 foot 6 and a bit at the time I was like 10.5 stone thats less than 150lbs and I was centre back. I was one of the best at tackleing on the team even the mens team and even more so on the unders ha I have always been insanely strong. Missing one of the greatest of all, Jerry Collins
Spot on, the terminator was the best, and such a humble man, we loved him in Wales, taken way too soon
I hope this spot never never be illegal
Rugby is a sport with a lot of rules and regulations. A tackling player is responsible for the outcome as well. A player lifted in the air is not to be touched by his opponent. Do not tackle around the head or neck. You get expelled easily. You are not slowed to pass foreword other than kicking. And so on, and so on…
Jonah RIP probably one of the best players ever and taken from us wayyyyyy too young!
i have never seen this video, but i see Chabal in the thumbnail and i know it'll be good. Rugby Jesus
