By the end of the qualifiers the best rise to the top and get to race the mega ,and those slower ones you see get the opportunity to race the amateur race . You also have to remember anybody can have a malfunction/ flat and will still try and finnish the quali, hence be in the way of the next wave.

To be honest guys I just think the race is insane! I love it! Sometimes I wonder how they are aloud to run such a crazy event haha love it tho
