I think it was the first time he ever played there and from recollection it was 1993, I definitely saw him play there in '93. It was only towards the end of '92 that the music took a turn towards Techno, all hardcore/breakbeat before that

I was there but I can't remember the year - I've still got the circular 'prisoner' flyer somewhere - I can't remember hearing any tracks that I knew at the time!!!! ;-) wHAT i remember is a night of ear piercing, brain melting twisty shit - no lie,, at 1 point i looked around & everyone had their hands over their ears (for about 3min) coz the sound was at some mental frequency - it was awesome & hilarious, I also saw some dancing the likes of which i'd never seen b4 (ravin since '89) i'm still laughin about it 23ish years L8R,,,, LOL
I'd love to know if it was 92 or 93 - I'm gonna dig out the flyer.
