“As our employees successfully mastered the launch of the new C-Class sedan last March, they are well prepared to also bring the station wagon version onto the road in top quality,” said Peter Schabert, head of the plant.
The predecessor of the new C-Class station wagon was phased out at the end of May. The plant’s staff had since then made extensive preparations for the production ramp-up of the new station wagon, which will be manufactured on the same assembly line as the sedan.
Whereas the Series 204 sedan is also manufactured at the Sindelfingen and East London plants, the station wagon will be produced exclusively in Bremen, from where it will be delivered to customers worldwide.
“We’re extremely proud that Bremen is the home for all C-Class station wagons worldwide,” added Schabert.
Just like the new sedan, the station wagon version of the new C-Class has also been awarded an Environmental Certificate, which attests to its environmentally oriented development process that conforms with the international ISO standard.
The station wagon takes the trademark strengths of the sedan, such as safety, agility and comfort, and combines them with a significant increase in spaciousness and versatility. - Auta a dopravní prostředky
And now going into 2020 the 204 design is still just as beautiful and timeless. One of the best designs merc ever made.

@@rico4you totally know how u feel. I've only got a c200 cgi, and I can't wait. If I may ask, what is the milage on ur c63? I've been looking around, but am a bit worried about the cam shaft issues that I've read alot about

This and W212 are probably the most reliable Mercedes of the 2000's.
I strongly disagree. That should be facelifted W211. In fact, 212s don’t have a reputation as good as 211s. They are all very reliable, either way 👍🏻😃
W 204 is truly a masterpiece
W211 2004 and later with a 320cdi engine 4Matic regular coil based suspention is the most reliable car in 21st centoury

I own one of these. It's a masterpiece.
My previous car was an Audi A4 and I really enjoy it . But now I've got an Mercedes c220 2012 and I LOVE IT! my favorite car ever. I always wanted a mercedes. Dream became true :D

I like that they still have a guy right at the end to go over and visually inspect each car for any problems.
Amazing technology
200k kms on 2008 200cdi without single problem so far. Everything is original except brakes, bulbs, tires, fluids and filters.
Trust me make sure all the fluids are from Mercedes. Not worth the risk if you get other brands. Otherwise why not go for a tune? Did mine yesterday and it's a brand new car

i have the same car Mileage 350 thousand. Not a gram of 0il eats. Not a single rusty spot. The diesel consumption is minimal. When starting from a spot, it twists the tarmac into a roll.

Its not there when the car was driven on to the rolling road, but it can be seen after...

The only thing that doesnt work is my 12v socket in front of the gear lever, the fuse is fine.. But hey.. if that's the only thing! These cars are bullitproof for this era of cars.

Definitely not up to Mercedes standards and heritage, but at least they’ve been known to be fairly reliable. This is probably the first “C Class” to actually feel like an entry level model, as the premium feel, drive, and quality is definitely lacking compared to previous and later generations. The design is also very lackluster, showing more similarities to many Asian cars than anything expected from Mercedes. The only reason it has a good “perceived” build quality is because of its basic design. It doesn’t seem to carry any Mercedes “DNA” that many enthusiasts have come to love. It was restored with the W205, which has a beautiful interior and design by comparison. The later ones are also fairly reliable. I wouldn’t bother with a W204, as the W212 is a far better car for not much more money these days.
Who ever chose the seats for the w204 should be fired. Worst seat cushions ever. They rip if you look at them the wrong way.

My God,what a disgusting car company... Mercedes don't even galvanize their vehicles,they rust so fast.I have w 203 and it's totally rust.I bought it about 14 years ago is a matter of fact.Mercedes is the worse car I ever had.Rust, electronic issues all the time.. totally unreliable car.Germans should learn from Japaneses how to make a quality vehicles
