Every one trashed Jesse Kotton for not playing king of swamp... but Gabe topped with the same mentality
and Henry topped :)
Its like a tradeoffer less bricking (with Dangers) but worse fusions/mills
I respect their choices but KotS just feels right to me
It was not JUST because of KOTS. his list was just garbo
I like Jesse list and congrats on yall top!! Imo I feel this is just a different type of build for Tear. I play KOTS and fenrir and it applys more pressure with more interruptions and negates along with more powerful fusions. Jesse build offers more consistency in the deck allowing you to play more on your opps turn like Tear format. All the builds for tear are great, just depends on event and the player!

What everyone seems to forget is that the deck functioned just fine before Rulkallos and the Ishizu package, and before KoTS was normalized. Granted, Kitkallos enabled many of those plays, we still have plenty of ways to get to those plays now, and it feels a LOT more fluid in its options than what it used to.
duuude them not running KoS, rulka, grapha and chimera is so insane. at the same time its soo clutch because it fixes the brick problem !!! and obvious d-barrier

In the end, there are only two things that surprise me:
1) What do you do with bahmut Shark's buddy
2) NO WINDA? She wins games on her own, right?
And no Tera because of Droll?

1) he summons toad
Winda is strong but you can't make it consistently. A lot of other extra deck cards that can get you going are more important, whereas if you're making Winda then you're already playing anyway. It also doesn't get you any follow up and loses to some non-engine cards like Books (many people are still playing them mainly due to Purrely), Imperm, Droplet.
Going for some combination of Redoer, Beatrice, Tear Kash (in hand), Sulliek, Cross-Sheep is generally better since these kinds of boards are a lot more resilient.
Also, one of Tear's worst matchups (Floo with Shifter) doesn't care about Winda at all, so that's one important matchup where the ED slot for Winda is completely wasted.

1:45 reino cannot send reino so hopefully they didn't actually do that play
He's saying if you normal Reino and then mill Reino later in the turn you can use them to go into Shark.

Well, without Arise heart It doesn't get absolutely destroyed anymore so it makes sense that it's increasing in popularity again

Can barely hear anything. Any way you can fix the audio or remove the background noise. Insanely difficult to hear Henry let alone Gabriel over all the noise.

The venue wasn't the best place recording wise but we didn't have many options as Gabe didn't have much time as he was leaving soon and would not be available to record for a week. We prioritised getting the profile up over quality this time but will look into way of making this better in the future.
it also does not help that the camera man is holding his hand on the microphone basically.
