Characters form chapter 1 of Crystal Stories (Sprinkles, Taylor, Seren and others) come face to face with the Deirdre on their way to a certain destination. The Deirdre is feeling like getting a quick snack out of them.
The character of the Deirdre is not necessarily evil, the overflow of magic in her body causes them to lose control of their body and mind, resulting in an out of control beast.

There’s already a full version, this song is from Epic an “audio play” musical on Spotify based on the odyssey this is someone’s audition for Poseidon and the song is being directed toward Odysseus as Poseidon is ambushing him just before he gets back to his home in Ithaca

@@lovely_lizzi3Deirdre will definitely appear in one episode of the first Chapter of the comic, but it’s in the plans that she’ll get her own chapter at some point (I’m aiming her’s to be the 4th or 5ft Chapter)

Thank you! The character are indeed my own character/ocs, but was inspired by mythology^^
Three questions:
1. Is the crystal that is mentioned in the end sentient because I got a bit confused with the writing so I am wondering if the crystal is sentient or it was just an object that was used by someone else.
2. Is the crystal that is mentioned that created the Deirdre evil (if sentient) or is it like a child and just likes to make things?
3. Did the main body of the Deirdre used to be from a giant or something else that is huge or can the crystal just change shape of the parts that will be used.
PS: sorry if I am asking to many questions this just seems very interesting and I am just genuinely curious.
No worries^^ (might be long answer I love lore dumping😅
1. In Crystal Stories, a Crystal is the equivalent of a tittle/"species" name, they are kind of the equivalents of Deity in a way, with 3 main species on their world they can connect with the planet's magic by nature true a gemstone looking thing in their heart (it's there naturally not put there artificially). (Kind of like the witch magic bile sac in the owl house).
2. Danaye was kind of like a very unethical mad scientist, not really evil by nature, but crazy yes, she very much enjoy experimenting grusome thing on random people. Kind of a "Island of Doctor Moreau" situation.
3. And no The Deirdre is not a giant, some Crystal can change their size thru magic and that is the case for her. In a sense they can all change parts of their bodies, but to some limits, for example a much older or powerful/masterful of magic will have more free reign over this, able go become giants or tini tiny, but a younger or less powerful Crystal is not gonna be able to do so without draining themselves (becoming very tired).

@@sapphirelight3586 one last question (promise): do the things that change have to be dead or alive to be changed, or does that not matter at all and if they can be changed while alive, I hope that the parts of Deirdre were dead because that sounds painful on a hole other level if it is done while alive.

I would assume Danaye would have random “monster” parts all around her lab or something, but as for Deirdre (at least the “human” head and torso left) was well alive during that process, and yes her other parts where dead (not sure about her other 4 heads tho). Danaye would simply kidnap random people and put random parts on them or run experiments without regard to if they suffer or not, she’d take anything alive, dead, or object and try combinations (for example one of her experiments was with a person and a tree trunk). And with how the natural biology of the people can sometimes adapts to those changes the new parts would become fully part of their body.
Why is it always the one with the scream
If you are talking about the version of the song, personally I choose it cause it fits more than other versions, the way Morgan Clae sings it match my character well.

Yes she’s named Deirdre (it’s often used with a “the” for The Deirdre)
