On this day my sister and I visit the small and beautiful town of Hatillo which is very close to Arecibo and Camuy. Hatillo is known as "El Pueblo sin Sopa" (the town without soup). Hatillo was founded on June 30, 1823 by Agustín Ruiz Miranda. In this video I fly my DJI Phantom 4 drone all over the downtown area. My father, Rocky Duran, sings all the music. His musica tipica style is well known throughout the island.

Saludos. That was my first time in downtown Hatillo and I loved it. The beaches are literally next to the downtown area. About the thumbs down, there will be many more. You can't please everyone. But that's OK, most people get Hatillo and will visit.

Hatillo is my Families town. My Grandfather is cousin to the guitar player that has the statue in the Plaza. Miguelito Alcaide. Theres also a street named after him that goes up the hill. My grandfather is Jose Alcaide and his son Jose (Pito) Alcaide. May they rest in peace. Oh and My Fathers name is Lara...like in Tito Lara another famous Puerto Rican singer.

At 2:07 The house on the corner of the peer. It has a yard to the right of it. There use to be a wood house. It got destroyed way back. I use to live there in the 90s. Im an Alcaide. Ive watched this video about 10/20 time. Brings back memories. Especially when Im not feeling to good. Thanks for the vid like always. The drone takes great pictures keep it up.

I can imagine myself on a hammock between two palm tress hanging out by the beach. That's life in Hatillo.

In have been watching your videos and I was concerned with safety issues driving to and from town to town, but you make it helpful with your Pueblo to Pueblo videos to make these ventures to see more of the island. So I will definately be driving out to get a Huge Relleno de Papa from the Kioskos of Luquillo, Thank you for sharing.
My last visit there was in the 70's
You are due for another trip there. There are no safety issues when driving the roads there as you can see. They are just as safe as any road in the states. Enjoy your trip there and drive anywhere you want. The scenery is fantastic.

Thank you Ovi planning on visiting a friend in Jan 2020 here and it is beautiful compared to Dorado where we are planning on staying but no hotels in this town maybe the wyndham should consider building here as well. Thanks for sharing

Janette, these are two songs from two different albums, Romantico and Mi Niña Bonita. Neither is available on the store link that I shared on the description of the video. But you can always call my father directly and he will sell and mail them to you if he has them. His number is 787-598-4809.

Thanks Jenny. The songs are from different CD's. One is from the Romantico CD and the other from the Niña Bonita CD. None are available online but my father still has a few left and will sell them individually.

Yes they have a Tourism Department. It was decorated with manikins that had Las Mascaras costumes! That is a festival that happens on December 28!
