Got these thinking they were the slightly larger Panfish floats czcams.com/users/postUgkx_rJB7cli5f1ofPVGgn80S7Yj4vqwq0gU they work just fine. The smaller size lets me carry more in my tackle box, and the 3 color choices are nice for different lighting conditions, backgrounds, etc. They aren't the most durable things in the world. But, as cheap as they are, it's not heartbreaking to lose one or have to replace a worn one. The price on these fluctuates wildly, from about $9 to almost $16. So, time your buy accordingly.

I save my empty line spools to put used line back on. Pick out a spade bit that fits snug in the center hole and wind it off with the drill just like you did with the dowel.

    A little late but ...
    Love your vids.
For a line remover, you can take a plastic soda bottle cap or Gatorade cap and drill a hole in the middle of it. Screw in a 1/4'- 3/8" bolt with the bolt threads pointing out of the top of the cap. tighten on a nut and stick the bolt shaft in your drill. Screw on an old plastic bottle, tie your line to the bottle, and strip the line off of your reel. The larger diameter bottle makes it go fast. When done throw away or recycle the bottle with the line on it and use another bottle next time. Free if you have the bolt, and reusable forever.

Comment/question> About the glow in the dark rod tips. Back in the day, you could buy small battery operated flashlight with a mini black light. STREN line used to glow in the black light so if you had your light on at night, you could see the line. I have not night fished for years so I don't know if this is still true or not. Plus the orange poles you had show also glow pretty good under a black light. Used to use little , what we called jingle bells and attach to the pole.

In the UK. I use small chemical glow sticks. Fix it to the top of my rod tip, with electrical insulation tape. Some of the glow sticks will last days. So if you stick the n the freezer, they'll stop glowing. Take it out and as it defrost, it glows again. Just make sure you dispose of the in the dustbin / trash can. Not throw them into the water or leave the on the ground.

Lately we've been taking g a small roll of garden wire with us and securing small smooth rocks with it for weights. For riverbank fishing it beats leaving a pound of lead on the bottom each time out. We also fish from a canoe so while waiting for bites when shore fishing we wrap some stones to keep ready for using walleye rigs from the canoe.

I have some of them in his old Tackle box that my grandmother give me after he past away. Back in his day, they used corks for whisky bottles. That's where got his. Great as always .I started making bobbers using the cheap ? white ping pong balls that Academy sports sells (50 at $12) and coffee stirrers from Walmart (100 for $2-$3) just use a small drill bit the size if the stirrer drill straight through both sides , try to keep it straight, and slip the stirrer through the pong ball and super glue jell on both sides. You can make 2 bobbers with one stirrer( cut the stirrer in half). Thanks and keep up the good work.

I've also experimented using soda bottle tops of different colors and super gluing them together (open ends) and let dry then drill a hole and put the stirrers through it and finish by super gluing the straws in. Yes I loose a lot of bobbers fishing from the bank, And again thanks for all you do and I'm honored that you'd ask to use my idea, Thanks.

Instead of a wooden dowel we always used pencils. Everybody and they momma has a pencil somewhere.
Cheap glow paint is fingernail polish. It also holds up pretty good if you want to add some touches to baits. After halloween you can pick it up on clearance for like 25 cents a bottle. I suggest dropping 2 BBs down in the bottle, the pigment settles and takes forever to shake up. The BBs act like the marble in a spray can.

8:03 I have another method,i flag using those green plastic bells you find in every fishing shop. If you mount them in the top of the casting stick, sometimes the fish bites and comes toward coast,so you won't see in time, but placing them like you did,on the line, they make a lot of noise when they go up,also if they go down and hit the ground. Important: always put them with the bells toward the reel,so it won't twist the line when you lift.

Rad, If you don't have ketchup to clean your hands you can use table salt. Wet your hands and pour about 1/2 a teaspoon on your hands rub them together just like washing and rinse. fish smell is gone. This is also great for getting rid of onion and garlic orders from your hands.
Another use for salt: To get the fish blood out of your white tee shirts or whatever you splattered blood on. Wet the blood spot/s with COLD water, (warm or hot water will set the blood and it will stain), sprinkle salt on wet blood spot, rub the salt in to make a paste, let it dry, then wash & dry as usual. It lead to uneven coverage, tried some expensive spray paint also with ok results. But then I came up with an idea so I got a piece of 1 inch PVC pipe and a cap for it about a foot long then I put a screw cap on the other end , put the paint in the pipe and dipped the rod tips in the pipe, had six painted in 5min. Let dry then reopen the eyelets by using a nail. Worked great with good heavy coverage and a green glow. Just thought I would throw that out there. Like your video on planner boards .. keepem coming

Using a bobber as a flag. I use to do the same thing starting back in the 1970s but instead of using a float I would use a matchbook and just close it around the line and it would hang from the rod and reel. Since the bottom of the rod and the real were close to the ground, I would put the matchbook on the line between the reel and the first ring, pull the matchbook and the line out, and lay the matchbook on the ground. When you got a fish on the line the matchbook would be dragged across the ground not only giving you a visible flag but also resulting in a noise alerting you to action.

you can also use the corks to attach to small things with a little detachable clip. if you drop them in advertantly, you can retrieve them, because they float! obviously, it wont work for larger things. for that i use pieces of pool noodle. but, if you wanted to you could do one for each lure, just incase l! but yeah, overkill and space. I usually lock everything valuable in the car and bring a single key. that would work as a floating keychain. Combine that with the glow in the dark paint or tape and you got a bright colored night time float!
you seem like youd be fun to fish with. thanks for the only "hacks" video ive watched that actually has useful info in it.

While your explanation about hydrogen peroxide is mostly correct, Oxygen as a single element is very reactive, as the single atoms of oxygen tend to quickly bond with nearby molecules. On Earth's surface, it does not exist naturally for very long. Dioxygen(O2) and Ozone(O3) are the most common allotropes on earth.
    So, the formula should be:
    2x H2O2 -> 2x H2 / O2
