  • Through a practice spanning photography, video and installation Corinne Silva engages with questions of landscape in relation to colonial practices, knowledge transmission, mythology, trauma and resistance. Silva displayed three of her imposing works in Prague as a part of Planted in the Body, a group exhibition that took place at MeetFactory in summer 2021. In her artist talk, she looks at gardening as a resistance strategy, opening the doors of a women’s walled garden in Central Turkey and contrasting it with an authoritarian and patriarchal exterior.
