Inspired by the giant larvacean and its mucus house, ZOOA creates a device that captures microplastics released from synthetic garments during each washing cycle, mimicking this species’ actions in the ocean. The project offers a circular and holistic approach, demonstrating full commitment to sustainability. Installed in the drainage of household washing machines, the project aims to reduce microfiber pollution as a result of laundry.
