As a guy who just grinds atraxa i highky suggest invasion of ikoria over eldritch evolution. I run a slightly slower atraxa plan where im playing to opal more, use my graveyard more, and run more board removal and love damn.

Highly recommend playing wishclaw, it's a permanent you can cause a flicker with on a bad kitten loop and fuels opal. I'm on one more talisman I think in exchange for hierarch. I don't use gaea's cradle cuz I think it blows half the time I play it. It's comparable to sumn about the power of a sol land or a forest in the deck that can be blown out hard by wipes. Straxa should thrive in a good wipe.

And also I advise basalt monolith over Grim monolith, I like it cuz again it feeds an opal, and so many games I've gotten an atraxa cast off culling ritual and drawn an opal with no other artifacts left in play besides a one ring, if I wiff on grabbing a good creature tutor then I just slam basalt and opal and set up to have enough mana to slam one of the silence creatures I'll have picked. A board developer, and have mana for a counter.

Also, I reccomend not having spirit guide but instead having kinnan, I love slamming a kinnan out when I'm doing my mana loops so it takes less casts if I don't have a teferi out. It at the minimum keeps me from paying for one rhystic eaxh go round and ramps me to playing an atraxa a turn early so many times.

Definitely man. Those are great feedbacks. And that’s the beauty of atraxa. With having the four Colors. I’m always mulling and morphing the deck. Wishclaw for me just felt bad without displacer kitten. On the ikoria I already finale and liked the diversity eldritch gave me in my tutor game. Talisman over Heiarch is definitely just preference. Tara’s cradle has been better for me lately as games have gone more turns and I usually get 2-3 mana off it. The spirit guide always feels bad. I might swap something out for it. Kinnans not a bad add. Also may just throw on another talisman. I wish derevyi was better haha

@TheCommanderBros I personally really like my flash suite of creatures too. If I can sneak an early food chain as just a value card being able to flash in end step before me what will at worst be atraxa mana has been fun. Main reason I'm back on notion thief for a test run. It's landed once so far and drawn me 6 cards before getting bowmastered and 4 mana 12 card swing between me and my opps collective card count is big enough that if I can keep him landing he might be back in swing.

So… where can I sell my kidney?

Wizards has reprinted pretty much everything the last 5 years aside from reserve list cards which you can proxy in 5k tournaments. The barrier of entry for comp magic hasn't been this low ever.

Also is there a more realistic (affordable)replacement to timetwister?

There is not. Proxy it. CEDH is the essence of playing the most optimal versions of a card

I use Windfall as budget substitution but, yeah Timetwister is there for a reason.

Right the stark difference is timetwister isn’t just about refilling your hand. It shuts off the breachlines as graveyards build up through a game.
