I totally get you!! I can't shop at WalMart because I will come out with everything I didn't need and nothing I needed. LOL. That was cute - water for the breadsticks. I love that you are so real. The chicken alfredo looks so amazing - I'm going to try a modified version since I'm on a extremely low salt and Kidney diet. Just in time for school. Can you believe we go back next week?? I need to cut salt too. I'll probably use no salt bullion for the broth, not add salt but use salted butter, maybe a tiny bit less than the recipe but idk. I'll probably use less heavy cream & add whole milk to lower cholesterol but I like that it's not, parmesan, mozzarella, cream cheese, & heavy cream like many other crockpot alfredos I've seen

Just a suggestion, maybe you can boil the trimmings and feed it to Miracle and Dixie.
I had the same thought when I saw you tossing all that skin.
I do that all the time for my two dogs. They love it!
You can give dogs raw chicken as their saliva stops them getting salmonella

I cook my two dogs chicken breast for breakfast & supper, they always have Science Diet kibble to nibble on throughout the day. They are full and not begging for food, plus of course they get treats.
You can see poor James is still not feeling well. He’s such a well mannered guy. 💙💙

For the critics this is not going to be a traditional Italian recipe. It's more than likely from an American cookbook and done in a crockpot. Lighten up. It looks like it will be delicious.
Your sauce didn't get thick enough cuz you didn't use enough cheese is very watery

FYI. If you leave the lid off of the pasta the last day 10 minutes or so it would thicken up. Just a suggestion. Looks yummy
Harlee really needs to learn to be grateful when something is done for / given to her and to say thank you. It will serve her well in the future. Always hardest with the youngest but worth it.

I never ate broccoli like that 😂 just as a salad, with red wine vinegar, salt and onion, but it hss to marinate on the dressing over night, so it tastes like vinegar and not broccoli (same for carrots) 😂 Have a great day !

I just saw a video that showed Lowe's has their great big Halloween figures set up and going and on sale for Patrick.
Consider chopping up a couple of bricks of cream cheese and adding it with the Parm. You kids will love you for it.

Plain pasta is not a good source of protein, I hope Dash is offered some kind of protein, aside from the "sauce"!
Most of her kids have medical reasons they only eat certain foods

Hi Alisha, try this dip recipe. Grest for summer bbqs or gatherings.
For your family you may want to quadruple this recipe..
2 blocks of cream cheese and 3 tbsp of sour cream blend well and spread in a large dish.
Add mild salsa sauce and spread on mixture.
Add chopped lettuce to cover salsa.
Add chopped tomatoes.
Add jalapeño
Add green table onions and your choice of chips to dip. Enjoy!

I’m only asking because I’ve read articles about children coming from a big family and one of the children as they grow older say, I always feel like the odd person out and or by the time my mom had me she was tired, so not a lot of attention was put on the child

Yes… I agree ! To each their own, I could never touch raw chicken or any raw meat for that matter ! I buy disposable food service gloves ! I guess I’m afraid of cross contamination !
@@lynneb620 i can’t touch raw meat either but when i help my mom cook i do, but i don’t use gloves because they can carry germs, so i just scrub my hands with soap and rinse them really good!

It’s actually an electric roaster. Alicia calls it a crock pot. I have 2 of them one is deeper than the other. I can’t remember quart sizes. My mom makes stew in hers. I’ve only made whole pieces of meat. I hope that helps you.
Alicia’s is a 22 quart roaster. You can purchase from Walmart or Amazon.

True Alfredo has ONLY butter, fresh grated parmesano reggiano, pepper. add salt only in the water for cooking the pasta (linguini usually, salt goes in the water after it comes to a boil) There is stuff added to the cheese in the jars, the real thing is way better. There is NO CREAM, HERBS, or anything else.

She has mentioned before some of the kids have microwaves at school to heat up lunches . But since it is summer some kids I believe are at home so they can always heat it up at home.
