In this next instalment of our 'VS' series we are talking all things tech, and where better to start than the Rolls Royce of the bait boat world. We sit down with our very own Jamie Jackson and Hassan Khan to discuss the differences between the latest offering of bait boats from Carp Lounge in the RT7 against is former model the RT4
We discuss the main differences between the boats, the updates, the new features all whilst trying to catch a couple of carp for the cameras.

I hate the new controller for the rt7 really don’t like it, to bulky for me
Needs a much smaller controller, love the boat just not that
Controller is just another thing to go wrong on the rt7
Also would never feel the lead down to tightly from a boat all you have done is ark the line back towards you away from the bait

Sorry but I’m reluctant to purchase a bait boat as I feel it takes away a big part of angling, I get they have their uses and maybe disabled anglers can put them to use.

Hi, Thanks for the feedback, there's still a lot of divided opinion on bait boats and even technology within angling, but they certainly have their place and lots and lots of anglers are using them so we need to cater to everyone. whether you like them or not 😀

Thanks for confirming why I dislike bait boats. Its a serious piece of tech, but still, i prefer my fishing without the need for launch codes.
I went fishing with a mate who used a bait boat recently. I had found spots, clipped up, 3 rods out, spombs over the top, and was sat making a brew by the time he'd bought his boat back from the 1st rod... the birds followed the boat out and instantly cleared him out..like uber eats for the birds 😅

Thanks for the feedback, they're certainly not for everyone and very much marmite still in angling when it comes to opinions, but you cant question that they are emerging within angling hence why we wanted to make a video on them. 🙂

Hi, Thanks for the comment, Hassan was fishing a lead clip and a drop off in line with his solid bags so the lead could easily be ejected. there was no fixed leads 😃
