Kayak Fishing with Child On Board - Old Town sportsman PDL 106

It comes up on Facebook and Reddit frequently that people ask how well these pedal kayaks work for fishing with a child on the back. This is the setup I have been using and it has been working great, even using the Sportsman 106 PDL vs the 120 PDL.
It is just a stadium seat attached to a wood rectangle to get it off the ground and have some storage underneath.
This is the fist time my son has used a spinning rod on a boat and also.. I didn't realize until watching this through that I REALLY need to tighten the drag on his rods.

It is a walmart stadium seat made by rio. And to raise it up, I made a wood square platform. I put a few pics here to sbow it better:
