Best C10 Door Weatherstrip - No More Slamming Doors!

How to install Honda Civic door weatherstrips onto a 1967 - 1972 Chevy pickup. These seal great and you no longer have to slam the doors. Did I mention both weatherstrip cost only $13.84? You gotta try this out, it works guys!!!

This works perfectly, I just bought new Fairchild door seals and have to slam the door, never had to before the original seals just had minor tears at the front lower corners.. I just got some o6 civic coupe seals today and I’m impressed. Fits perfectly and the door shuts with ease.. thanks for posting, I love it when a plan comes together..

It does work really well. Mine became even easier to close over time, yet the wind noise is still very controlled.

The door seals from the 2014 standard cab 1500 are an exact fit for the C10 and they dramatically reduce wind noise.

The cab noise reduced when the rear of the seal came off because it gave the pressure inside the cab somewhere to go. These truck cabs don't let the air out when you go down the road

You are correct about early models of this body style. 1971 and 72, had a vent added to the door jamb.

so those civic seal, do you have to glue those in too to keep them from falling out?

No glue required. The Civic seal simply presses on the door frame.

Its most likely your Rockers. They may have been worked on or replaced.. Try moving your strikers

That's a good point. It is very important to maintain datums when welding in replacement panels. Not the problem in this case, but a good suggestion to keep in mind.
