Nice and original looking hinge. I've printed a few print-in-place hinged designs and it's always surprising how well it works.

I want to see you do it in onshape. I've been practicing myself. In about 30 minutes today I modeled a vent register for my son with dual hose ports for putting ducts under his blanket. 😂 In the time since you mentioned it I've come from being lucky to do an extruded block to being able to make the same register on my samsung phone.

You can use T to make parts transparent rather than turning them into holes.
Awesome hinge design though, looking forward to trying it!

I generally use a roll pin for hinges on prints. This is definitely faster.
The most interesting part for me here is your work-flow in tinker CAD. I am a fusion 360 user and my approach would have been entirely different.
Probably would have used a sketch for the inner profile, revolved it, cut it into the outer blocks and then used the face offset tool to set clearance. Totally different order of operations.
Tinker CAD is very neat though, seems more "hands on".

This is one of the fastest Tinkercad tutorials I've ever seen.
Also, the first one I've understood - nice

When using Tinkercad, I typically keep odd pieces off to the side of the surface for easier access when I recall that I need another one.

Given that the supermarkets’ metric is that it is less expensive to buy new shopping trolleys than it would be to collect those that ‘wander’, should shopping trolleys be legally bound to be gold plated?😈

A metal & plastic 3D-printer combi is needed.
