I’m here in Florida too. The Macy’s here is close to being closed! The merchandise looks cheap! Dillard’s here is great and so is Belks! You were so right about Macy’s, corporate should listen to their consumers!
Hi Dionne, I think we are seeing the death of department stores in general. It didn't just start but it is happening. The next generations aren't cut from the same cloth. I believe department stores are from a different era. The overall American Culture has changed. 💜TFS!
I live in the Martin county Florida we no longer have Macys here Dillards in the mall here has very little merchandise. Treasure coast mall all stores have little merchandise The stores down in Boca have a much bigger selection Even Toss and TJ Maxx have a small selection it’s sad
I agree. Dillard's does it better. Macy's is confusing and not authentic. I didn't realize that Macy's use other buyers, but now it makes sense. The products didn't match up. Thanks for the lesson.

I’ve been to macys backstage a handful of times and I always find myself going to tj maxx, Marshall’s or Ross for the same or similar items for a better price. I just don’t see a need for a Macys backstage
