For BR players the nerf is significant. The full auto build was very strong as sniper support but now it takes an additional shot to kill against kinetic players and takes away some of its benefit. It’s still good, but not as great as it was. It’s not competitive enough at mid long range to make up for the close range nerf compared to other aggressive ARs.

I am using echo mod build in ranked and since the nerf it is much more manageable and really fast at killing enemies. It is OP in close to mid range maps.

I don’t know maybe the way I play a different but Echo fire barrel for me works very well for whatever reason because of the vertical recoil I hit Headshots consistently in ranked with it, it’s not the best but with the big Mag size and good mobility it seems to work OK for me

I think that Maddox is still overpowered AR and can counter Meta AR like Krig 6.However,Cannot use the Echo barrel now,it's trash after nerf.
And yes,they nerfed AR before first time i using it!

To say the echo fire mod has slow RPM is kinda misleading since the RPM in the burst itself is double that of the fennec. Only burst delay makes it feel slow

RPM in Burst wouldn't matter since we're still getting delay of 7F every consecutive 2Shots making it worst than Fennec
Stats are just numbers, how does it affect the gun practically is what matters

Holger and cbr can be spammed by everyone even new players and they can win every gunfight and not get nerfed.
Maddox echo fire mod takes skill to use because you need to control the recoil and also hit your shots and gets nerfed for some reason.

They keep making good ARs then nerfing them worse than SMGs. SMGs are the only way to go unless you're playing passive, but you'll still lose to CBR4 switchblade and bison players.
