Title fights can easily go 25 minutes and 3 or 4 of them back to back has the ability to really ruin the energy of a card.

The issue is if they book Leon vs Islam then BOTH LW and WW divisions get held up. Two weight classes with the most contenders and talent out of them all.
Funny how nobody complained when the overrated Irishman held up 2 divisions for 2 years, but now it's an issue.

I think they are gonna make it a co main event in London. The main event is gonna be aspinal .

Islam needs to focus on his own division. So far his LW title reign consists of 0 Ws over LWs. His Ws over Volk were a shortcut to the top of the P4P rankings, but they did nothing for his LW legacy or his place in LW history. He needs to take care of Gaethje, Oliveira, Tsarukyan & Gamrot.

Why do people dislike Belal's fighting style? I would encourage everyone to go back to the night that Belal beat Luque and compare that to the night he was losing to Leon. The guy revamped his stand up through footwork. He trained with the Dagestani's until his wrestling and cardio were elite enough to grind out a take-down domination fight against wonder boy. The guy is the best, most complete fighter in the division.
Luque isn't quick footed.
Leon makes everyone look ineffective.

I'm a big time Islam Makhachev fan, so perhaps my opinion is skewed his way. However as a long time MMA fan I'm over the Champ Champ thing. Please guys, stay in your division. Now having said that, I'd LOVE to see Islam vs Rocky as a fight fan. I can see it being done at UFC 300. I would be OK with this fight there because it's supposed to be a spectacle. My concern is having Islam fight 5 days after Ramadan! What his body will go through training with no food or water. I worry will we get the best Islam and the best fight that night?? Islam is a beast so he will be ready 💯... But will he be 💯

They did at one point he took them to his parents house to meet his dad, and when bilal started talking his dad fell asleep in the chair. His dad might have been faking but it was evident he didn’t want to listen to Bilal waffle.
I know it’s easy to give Belal a hard time. But his win streak is undeniable, and he KO’d sean Brady when NO ONE wanted to fight him.
