  • TTT Time to talk
    What's my vision:
To create a safe space for people to talk about absolutely anything they wish to.. with a focus on mental health. To open up myself and share my vulnerabilities with the aim of encouraging others to do the same.
Let's talk about what's going on in your life. Let's talk about what scares you and what's weighing heavy on your shoulders.
Let's listen and understand that not everything needs solutions and answers. That some people just need to be listened to and nothing more.
Let's talk about our purposes in life, what we want to achieve and how we plan to leave a positive impact on everyone we cross paths with.
Let's not be afraid to give advice when something resonates with us.
Let's not be intimidated by heated debate and by difference of opinions and perspectives. Let's try to put ourselves in other peoples shoes and appreciate their points of view. Let's agree to disagree, shake hands and move on to another topic.
Let's connect and network and help each other in all kinds of ways. Let's support each other where we can.
Let's talk about nutrition, about the connection between mind, body and spirit.
Let's be spontaneous at times and not follow a direction. Let's go with the flow.
Let's have themes to our talks. Let's invite people to talk about what they are passionate about and then afterwards discuss how it could relate and help us. Let's ask questions.
Let's create an atmosphere for people to feel at home. To feel completely comfortable with sharing their vulnerabilities and because of this, feel liberated walking out the door at the end.
Let's talk about staying in the present moment.
Let's be silly and childish and laugh
    Let's build a community
Let's go off script. Let's take the path less travelled.
Let's give everyone an opportunity for their time to talk (TTT)

I personally* think that mental illness is a spiritual problem that is experienced in the "mental plane". What i mean by mental plane is the same area that has consciousness. the same "area" within us we call ME/I.
I think that the body needs water to survive, the mind needs a pursuit of learning/knowing/understanding to stay "sharp/content/at peace", and the soul needs a relationship with its creator to go through life without struggles/pain/grief/strife/fear/anxiety and more....
When we do not feed the body we become weak with no energy to even move.....
when we do not seek to understand and know, we become stupid/slow/dumb...
We are not raised to believe or even understand that we ARE souls, We are not our personality bubbbly/kind/outgoing... we are not our character traits honest/brave/resilient.... we are not our senses, eyes nose mouth, we are not our bodies. We are souls.
Scientists dont believe in souls. So they do not even attempt to factor souls into the equation of cure. This is why they are stuck, the dont know if its psychological/biological/herriditary.. becasue in my opinion it is none of the above.
So the cure would be to connect to the creator.
How do we build a realtionship with a new person? we get to know them, we tell them about oursleves. God already knows everything about you, what do we know about god? god says in the quran, that, no one knows anything about him other then what he has revealed about himself. He has revealed attributes, such as Ar-Rahman, which means most merciful... He tells us his mercy outweighs his wrath.... we are told he is gentle so we are told to be gentle.... we are told haste is from satan and consideration is from god... we are told to worship him 5 times a day yet we are also told 1 hour of contemplation is worth 70 years of 5 daily prayers/worship. We are to NOT fall in love with life whilst being grateful for being in existence. We must think about death daily and we must prepare for when we die by doing good deeds but firstly, getting close to god. We are told not to take life as a joke or a game, but to take it as a test. We are told that for those of us who like competition, we should compete in righteousness which means to do the morally upright thing. We must have certainty in the life after death and this certainty comes easier then we think, reading the quran is the direct message from god. He speaks to us directly. This is one short verse from the quran....
in the name of god the most merciful the especially merciful
Say, God is one and only
    The eternal refuge
    Neither begotten neither begets
and there is none other like him

Wonderful to see you looking so well Paul. You should be very proud of yourself, you came through some horrible experiences and are now trying to help others. Great to hear how you have identified and can share steps to protect your well- being.

Great to hear your psycosis story mate. I had no idea. A lot of what you said resignated with my drug induced episode in Amsterdam. It's actually alarming how many things we both did in common! Delusions of grandure. Jesus reincarnate. Invincibility. Public nudity. Wondering around like crazy people for days. Then the recovery process. I did without medication but it was very similar. The post psychic depression was lengthy and I also had extreme social anxiety. Also, thought everyone was talking about me at the time.. Almost killed myself but I confronted that demon and made big healthy changes which was the beginning of my new better life. Anyway, I also made a full recovery and I appreciate you sharing your story. You're helping people by sharing this. It's very brave.
PS. Might want to consider that chronic brain trauma also triggers psycosis. I've seen happen a few times with fellow fighters. Might be something to consider..
    Stay well champ.

Yo Dylan. Thanks so much for reaching out and sharing your thoughts and experiences. It's great encouragement for me to continue down this path.
It's crazy how are stories are so similar. Maybe that's not coincidence, I'm not sure.
Now you mention about your drug induced episode, I think it could have played a factor it mine too. Where we met, the stuff was so strong
