I wish there could be a corrupt/crimson jungle, rather than it just turning into normal corruption/crimson. If a plantera bulb was broken in either maybe a corrupt/crimson version of plantera would spawn too
the reason why it turns normal is bc corruption/crimson cant spread across mud which is what the jungle is made of. So to implement your idea they would need to undo that first

That was me with the queen bee. I have a tendency to collect anything that's not nailed to the floor in Terraria. Every chair, table, torch, painting, and/or machine will be mine. So when I saw the larva, I thought it was a wall decoration because it looked like the boss trophies I had from King Slime and EoC. Tried mining it, saw the summon message, and realized I'd fucked up. Just barely managed to scrape by in the fight, which was good, because I was annoyingly far away from base to have to retrace my steps.
It's currently one of my favorite bosses to farm because of the loot it drops, but it still manages to wipe the floor with my face about 50% of the time.

When I read this comment i was watching a Polish youtuber "Eleven" (yes I know it is kind of weird to see a Polish youtuber with English nick but it was his choice) playing Undertale and when he have seen transformation of Metaton to Metaton Ex he gone from for the first time "YES YES!!!!" If you were to think about it, fighting plantera without arena in tight space but alot of direction of jungle, flying around in hostile environment, especially in 3D is actually freaking badass
