Everytime the 'holy lord of dynamite' line plays by I remember Alfred Nobel, inventor of dynamite, started the Nobel peace prize to get people to stop calling him the merchant of death.

It's more complicated than that. The way you describe it makes it sound like he just did it to salvage his reputation, which is a total mischaracterization.
His brother died of an illness, but newspapers mistakenly reported _he_ had died, which gave him the rare opportunity to read his own obituaries, and see how the world would remember him.
Seeing what his legacy would be, and how evil he was perceived as, shocked him enough to inspire a change of heart, and after his death, he dedicated the fortune he made selling explosive weapons to celebrating humanity.
It wasn't just some rich bastard trying to make people stop saying mean things about him, it was a man who had an epiphany regarding his actions and decided to change.
Merchant of Death sounds like a way cooler title, but yknow, whatever makes you happy Alfred.

When the apostle Paul talks about sanctification he uses the Greek word "dunamai" which is the root for the word dynamite. So the song name is pretty related to the actual belief of the EARLY Christians. Instead of think in sanctification as an absence of sex and presence in physical temples, you can be sanctified in dynamite in love and compassion for example. But why I'm saying this here, LOL

All I can say - these two songs 'We drink your blood' and 'Sanctified with dynamite' are just mind-blowing songs by Powerwolf! Beyond comparison!! The 'Blood of the Saints'-album is just outstanding!! Being a real Powerwolf-fan, I'll be probably one of the first to buy their new album, released in June 2013!

This band is fucking amazing and great live too. I love how the organist can switch between industrial and black metal styles, guitarists have a heavy ass sound, the drummer sounds like he's hurling thunderbolts and I'm fucking wet over the vocalists power metal style fused with a Gregorian chant, which makes mocking the catholic church even more pleasing to me.
Yeah, and I like how they make us notice in some of the songs that the religion distorts human's sexuality.
