We had the channel on Xfinity/Comcast as well until December 2017. I regret not recording anything from that unit but I'm still really fortunate to have this one from Mediacom. Always love to hear from someone else who watched it religiously back in the day LOL
DVR still works, just been capturing these on tape as it's the easiest method right now. I'm in the process of ordering an HDMI splitter to circumvent the HDCP my DVR has in place and from that point forward, most every DVR capture will be in 1080p.
I remember watching this channel for literal HOURS as a kid. Sadly, Xfinity got rid of the channel about 4 years ago.

Do you know any way to still access this channel without using Xfinity, Cox, etc? I would love to have it back. I miss it so much.
Unfortunately not. I receive Weatherscan through Mediacom and I believe it's available on only a few others anymore.
