I fully admire that you are recording this for a number of reasons. 1. It gives us an insight into how you are treated by staff, that greggs dude was an asshole. 2. I never realised ubereats paid their delivery riders so little, makes me consider more my choices knowing you'll be paid a fair pay for making their business function! 3. Your a great guy and love the fact your monetising your videos - TBF the more you make the more you'll earn in adsense, so you canckeep earning off of past deliveries! 🤣

Very easy to criticize when you dont work for the company. I do and I can tell you is only 1 person doing absolutely everything in the morning, so doesnt surprise me they look like that... but i have to say also that a smile doesnt cost anything.

Cycle route messes me up at nights ..try take me through parks where gates closed in pitch black ....lol .....ive been through some mad places because of it ...some how ended up cutting through a gold course in pitch black and non gates was locked ....i had no idea it was golf course till i got home looked at my route on google map seen that i had just rode through some golf course ..:D ....at 10pm ....also sends me down some creepy pitch black no go alleyways ...

For people saying about the greggs lot not looking happy i work for greggs and trust me just eat is the worst thing to happen the company cant get anything right reecently we have had a fake account costing us money by accepting orders without actually collecting but even when that is good at the one i work at we ususally get alot of abuse of the drivers we dont get much turn around time for the orders so if its busy in shop and theres just eat we might need to but more bakes in they take 20 mins as is so when we get 10 mins for order its not amazing and when we have had some just walk behind the counter and collect it themselves thats not amazing either now im not saying its all just eat drivers ive found that if they know how to speak english there good and this includes the drivers who are from diffrent countries when they speak english we never have an issue but the drivers that wont learn it and complain at us for not knowing ehat they want it gets very hard and also they wouldnt of been to happy at 7 as most of the shops open then and some shops could have half an hour to an hour to open
That’s a shame they treat you like that, we get paid as JE riders if there’s a delay at the restaurant. Hopefully you get some polite drivers coming through now and again!

Try 15 to25 parcels I have done plus picking and packing round trip of 200 to 300 miles you would not do that on a push bike a long trunk Run most delivery jobs I know are between 50 to 100 parcels and find doing it with a van or lorry challenging I found it harder than I thought when I thought with a motor vehicle also hours are longer than what you were doing.

Good job. Also with just eat you waiting over 10-15 minutes you get extra.
Yeah that happened the other day, a £4 job turned into £7.15 when I waited 28 mins, not ideal but better than the other apps!

Your thoughts about how much Uber pays were exactly the same as mine when I got on Just eat lmao, such bad pay compared to Just Eat. I try to basically never take Uber orders anymore

Thanks for sharing what Uber pays its riders. I won't be irdering through them again. I'll use Just Eat instead.
It's interesting, in Netherlands sometimes it ends up being more than Just Eat (normally it's the same, slightly more - worked on both), and if you get some of the promotions you can end up taking up to €30 extra from one shift. Which is a lot of they have those promotions more days a week.
I left Just Eats permanently as I found dealing with drivers a bit abusive (pushing to work in some circumstances I didn't agree with). I was treated this way couple times and quit mostly because of it, and while I'm not speaking for everyone, it's not like ordering from the is any better. I still do Uber on the side, if you're not lazy and think a bit which orders to slip since they don't pay off, like long ride to another side of the city for €3, I at least always leave with satisfying money afterwards.

We don't get too many promotions where I live (except for this week due to New Year's), which I why I'm more reliant on Just Eat now. I also like that Just Eat is structured a bit more with the shifts

I'm doing the same thing you are doing, but as a walker. There's once I picked up one of my orders from the restaurant, & before I left the place to head to my drop-off location - the restaurant worker who gave me my food order told me to f#*k off. Anyways, I gave that restaurant a not so good review on Google Map.

JE for me on a 7-10 or 7-11 is terrible, they seem to send me orders when it comes towards dinnertime. Were has other drivers on morning shifts get loads of orders. The system just doesn't like me doing morning orders. So I tend to stop doing morning shifts. Its a very odd system JE have.

You can cancel an order by talking to support but it does affect your acceptance rate

People are so engrossed in consumerism, and unbelievably lazy these days !
What most are failing to understand is that neither JE, Uber, Deliveroo are good for the food industry. They take a fee from the business plus a small fee from the customer.
Most food businesses esp the smaller ones are having to absorb those fees into their profits. If smaller businesses started to include the fees into their prices no one would order, because it would seem that they are overcharging the customer.
If you want to support local then order direct. I know some places will only delivery via Uber and je. But if they have their own delivery drivers then go direct. You might even save a couple quid.
You are only including half of the food industry, a lot of restaurants don't offer delivery and they put their prices 10% higher to account for the Uber/JE tax
Lol I wish I could do Just Eat but they're not accepting new couriers anywhere... Greggs near me doesn't do ubereats haha, unlucky for me

Just Eat and Uber Eats both cover my area, but I never use Uber Eats. I only used to use them back when they were the only ones who delivered for McDonalds. But now Just Eat deliver for them too, and charge less for delivery, so Uber Eats can go to hell.
They’re hit and miss for sure with Uber, some days are good and some are awful 😂
