This Storm Connections miss settings of select your ninjutsus like in Storm 4
For me Naruto Storm Connections it doesn’t feels like a new Storm game at all, they changed only a few buttons commands and nothing more, the fact that they removed Tilts and they put the tilts moves on the second jutsus it's pretty lame, disappointing and lackluster, not to mention that they removed the jutsus selection completely from the beginning of the fight. 🤦🏻♂️ This game feels more like an update DLC than like an actual New Storm Game. But honestly, for me Storm 1 will remain the most Unique one from the series and the closest to the anime itself because of the very dynamic gameplay features, my reasons: Intro of characters before the encounter, unique jutsus that didn't came back to the other Storm games, longer and diverse movesets for almost any character, Awakenings in Storm 1 have also Ultimate Jutsus, Jutsus Clashes and Wall Fighting... and I can go on and on to state it why Storm 1 gameplay was the most unique one from the Storm Series, just try to Imagine Storm 4 gameplay with Storm 1 gameplay features, In my opinion that will be the Perfect Storm game. The First Storm game has the most Unique gameplay features perspective and the particular presentation of the game was so ahead of it's time in my opinion, the only downside of the first Storm game was the very lacking Story Mode Interactions, and from Storm 3 the developers cut and shortned the movesets of characters, that's why I don't agree with their choices. (By the way, my favourite Storm games and I will put them in my personal order will be: 1.Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 1 and Generations. (these have my favourite vibe and charm of the anime itself because of the dynamic gameplay features)
2. Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 2( for the unique Story and some Unique Boss Battles and let's not forget that Iconic "Calm Before the Storm" OST from the Characters Selection Screen and many more diverse soundtracks)
3. Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 Full Burst (Because of the more well-rounded diverse Story Perspective and very epic Boss Battles and also the soundtrack "Outside Konoha" and others soundtracks as well)
4. Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 (mostly because of the unique option to change/switch between your characters team during the fight, this particular option mechanics should've been already in the game from the very first Storm game in my opinion)
5. Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution (because of the abused and annoying Counter mechanic) 🤷🏻♂️

Just try to Imagine Storm 4 gameplay with all of the Storm 1 gameplay features: 4th/side combo still be available( because from Storm 3 thet cut/shortned the movesets for all the characters) Jutsus Selection for each character before the encounter, Intro of characters before the encounter, Jutsus Clashes, Wall Fighting, Awakenings in Storm 1 have also Ultimate Jutsus, Awakenings in Storm 1 have also Unique Grabs/Throws Animation, and I can go on and on to state it why Storm 1 gameplay features perspective aspects are the most unique and authentic from the all of Naruto Storm games.

The story mode just lacking so much.
You read the brief summary of the mission and just jump right into the battle.
There’s no real storytelling with this.
That’s enough reason for why it is the weakest.
QTE are also the weakest in storm 1 among all four storm games.
Free roaming in storm 1 might have its advantage like Naruto able to use jutsu like shadow clone canon and all.
But that’s it.Thats literally it.The leaf village is just boring.You got nothing to do.NPC are just standing and doing nothing.
Open world mission are like collect ingredients brah brah.
For the combat system,it’s just meshy.Theres no limit to substitution jutsu as long as ya have chakra for the cost of tiny bit.That alone make PVP too annoying to play.
There’s no dash or air cancelling.
Mini games are just repeated again and again.Boss fight are also weakest compared to storm 2.3,4.
And overall,there’s no online mode.
I can understand why ppl overhype storm 1 the most.Because of things like extra jutsu and extra moveset.
So no tilt damn
I hate how they removed the crow attack and the OG Susano awakening 🤦🏾♂️
Here's what I would consider the perfect Itachi moveset:
Normal:
Storm 1 combos but Storm 2-4 tilt and additional speed blur effects
First Jutsu: Shadow Clone Explosion
Second Jutsu: Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu
Ultimate Jutsu (at above 50% health): Tsukuyomi
Ultimate Jutsu (at below 50% health): Amaterasu (an updated version of Visual Jutsu: The Sun God)
Awakening:
V4 Armored Susano'o with ability to transform into V5 Perfect Susano'o (and vice-versa) (Awakening Action mapped to up on d-pad)
(Movesets between Susano'o are different, with the Armored Susano'o also being invincible but draining Itachi's health, Perfect Susano'o is not invincible but does not drain health)
First Jutsu: Amaterasu
Second Jutsu: Yasaka Beads
Armored Susano'o Tilt: Shadow Clone Combo, then Explosion
Perfect Susano'o Tilt: Yata Mirror
Awakening Ultimate (If those come back): Visual Jutsu: Tempestuous God of Valor (an updated version of the Susano'o ultimate in Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Heroes 3)
What do you think? Hopefully this isn't TOO overpowered, as I do like the idea of there being 2 regular jutsu, though tilts should NOT have been removed. As for balance, the secret of this Itachi moveset is high risk, high reward. The idea of an invincible awakening that drains health at a fixed rate is a nod to how Itachi's use of the Armored Susano'o in the show guaranteed his death, yet the Yata Mirror was invincible to all conventional attacks, at least as shown (also I headcanon that even if Itachi HAD the Perfect Susano'o in canon, he might still favor the V4 Armored Susano'o due to it having BOTH the Totsuka Blade AND Yata Mirror active at once (and thus being invincible from the front WHILE ATTACKING), rather than having to (with the V5 Perfect Susano'o) retract the Yata Mirror to swing the Totsuka Blade (or not be able to swing the Totsuka Blade while blocking with the Yata Mirror)).

one thing I hate about this installment is that they removed Itachi's crow while he's moving.. (it's one of those things make Itachi stands out from the other characters) and they removed it lol
