I used to live in Dallas and Houston if you're going to go to Texas go to Houston, Dallas doesn't really have that many bad areas it's got some homeless people and that's all but Houston's worse

my grandma who has lived in the city since the 1940’s says that it was never the same after the riots. there was no money to repair the damage done and since most of the businesses closed down those who could moved to the suburbs and those who couldn’t were forced to stay in a city that was basically destroyed and abandoned.
